Clean and press. Involves just about every muscle in the body.

I would say an Elliptical machine. There are many different programs so you can change it up and I get to watch TV while doing it.

I have lived on 4mph walk at a 12.5 degree incline. 80 minutes of that has burned between 1000 and 1250 calories per session during my nearly 70 pound weight loss. I will stick with that. (180,000 caloies and counting / more than 50# of my 70# loss)

HIKING - it's low impact on your joints, you can make it harder by going faster or climbing steeper terrain, you get a solid strength workout if you carry a heavy pack, every day on the trail is a new adventure, and you get to see the earth's beautiful scenery and wildlife along the way.

Burpee is where I buy flower seeds. What are you talking about?
Zumba is fun, you work everything, stay limber and have fun.
Swimming is great, but does not result in weight loss.
Swimming is safe in that you do not damage joints, no pressure points.
Also consider that women's muscles are in the thighs, not arms and shoulder, so unlike men, we are not burning calories like men do in the pool.
Squats with or without weights and cycling are out for me now, bad knees.
Running -- never could run, also does damage.
Walking is now my exercise of choice, but walking like cycling only exercise some muscles.
I have found that most everything tightens joints and ligaments that once were limber.
I would recommend Zumba. Try it on youtube and see how much fun it is.

Running, no contest... Mostly because I just recently got into running, and absolutely loved it. And then, due to medical reasons, I was told that I may not be able to run again. I miss it so much!
