Thank you for all the encouragement and the motivation that everyone seems to have!! I have been on here for a year and taking it slow. I have battled an eating disorder for 28 years, but this past December I was released from my therapist. I was seeing her for the past 6 years to get the eating disorder under control and finally beat it. I know that it is something I will struggle with forever. I joined MFP when a friend, who is a dietician, encouraged me to. MFP keeps me accountable of what I need to eat, and how much, on a daily basis. I like the fact that it lets me know when I have not eaten enough calories. I'm in such "AWWW" at how I have been able to eat, exercise, and still lose the weight. I give all the credit to God for helping me to see that He created me in His image and that He lives inside of me. I had to stop hurting myself because I realized that I was hurting Him. I also did it for my kids. I don't want any of them to suffer like I did. It's all about being healthy not "skinny as a rail". I do realize that I need this program because it keeps me in line. My family doctor has helped also. He set a goal of where he would like me to be for my height, bone structure, and age. I know I will get to that goal within time. The slower it comes the longer it stays off.
