Forgot to say im 5'7 and go to the gym 3-5 times a week
  • wow I cannot believe some of you have a goal weight of 130 and below? I think that would be too skinny for my/our height? does anyone have pics of what that weight for our height would be?
I thought I was unrealistic of my goal of 140?

    I am 29 next week

    I am 5"7

I want to tone too so I'll go on inches rather than the scales, I think I could easily lose some more lbs but when gain muscle, I'm happy to gain weight xx

More than a goal weight, I'd like to get back to single digit pants sizes. I was 4-6 when I graduated college 10 years ago... 8 is my goal now.

My goal weight is based on my frame. This website helps you measure your body frame whether small, medium or large. http://www.superskinnyme.com/body_type_calculator.html. then this website tells you what weight you should be for your height and frame. http://www.superskinnyme.com/ideal_weight_calculator.html. I am a large frame and should be in the 143-163 range. I figured 155 was smack dab in the middle.

Funny that when I was fat I called myself big-boned. Turns out I have a small frame but I knew that when I was telling everyone that I was big-boned. This site helped me think about the weight that would be right for me. I might be able to lose a few more pounds but it would be much better (and what I want) to gain muscle. I think gaining the muscle will be a lot harder than losing the weight.

I've been having a REALLY hard time losing weight for awhile now. So I'm trying to focus more on lowering my BF% which is at about 27%.

I would ideally like to get to 130 but I seem to plateau every few weeks. Im thinking of upping my calories as Im at 1200 at the moment and burn around 500 calories per day with exercise which I don't eat back.
    Best of luck to everyone!!

Once I get to 150 (again) It's going to be all about performance for me. I Crossfit roughly 5 day/week and love it! I also love running and would like to complete a marathon in the next year. I feel like the opportunities and room for improvement are endless!

Between 2011- 2012 lost 20lbs and have been struggling to keep it off. I am now trying to bust the 170 into 160.and keep it moving to my goal. I would love to get back to that toned body i had when i married my husband 11yrs ago (135lb). We are both currently working out at the gym and even my youngst son of 16 has joined us making it family time. :) MOTTO.... Keep swimming (Finding Nemo)
