ladies at 5'8 what is your ideal weight target?

I'm 5'8" and my goal weight is set at 127. This is based on the fact that I want to have 28% body fat where right now I have 38.5% body fat. In reality I don't really have a goal weight because it will be whatever I weigh when I lose 10 inches from my belly and I am skinny FIT. I just don't want to look like I'm still pregnant anymore. (it's been 4 years).. Lol.
Whoa! 127 is a pretty low weight for someone who's 5'8" and not a naturally slender type (maybe you are--pregnancy can be rough for everyone). You definitely don't need to lose that much weight to get down to 28% body fat. My body fat was 23% when I last had it checked and I weighed 154 at the time.0 -

I'll bite- I'm 5'8" and my goal is 135. I have a small frame.

5'9'' and goal of 130 lbs.
Average at 150 lbs til last year.
Weight now- 144 lbs0 -
Thats me and my goal is 150 now! I began this hitting 177.... Once I get to 150 I may try for 135-140.... but ultimately once I'm around the 150 size I won't look at the scale anymore and it'll be on muscle toning (especially abs) rather than pounds on the scale..0

5'7", small boned, and my ideal weight is 130.
I'm happy anywhere between 125-135 as long as I'm toned.0 -
I'm 5'9" and a half lol. My goal is 150, which is my pre baby weight. I'm at 185 now so about 35 to go0

I'm around 5'8" and my SW was 172, CW about 167, GW about 135-140 depending on how I feel. Around two years ago I was about 145 and still could've stood to lose about 5-10 lbs, so that's why my goal is a bit lower. I'm more concerned with exercising more, eating right, and how I feel my body looks, as opposed to the actual number.0

At my highest I was 150 (oh those freshman 15) and my lowest in my adult life was 130. Right now I'm at 135 but not in shape at all. I need to tone up and slim down!0 -
I'm 5'7" and weight 139. I used to weight 128, but I think 132 is a good goal for my height and frame.0

I'm 5' 8" and my goal weight was 135. I hit it a few weeks back, and actually dropped to 133.8, but at this point, I'm more concerned with lowering my body fat percentage a bit more than with the actual scale number. According to the calculators I use, to hit my next body fat % goal, my goal weight is 131, but we'll see. Measurements and how my clothes fit mean more to me than the scale now0

I am also 5'8. Start weight was 185 (beginning of this year), CW is 169, GW is 150. I am 33 and have had 5 kids.. my body has has been thru the ringer I am also large framed. I have been below 150 (142 was lowest) and I looked sickly.

wow, seeing some interesting goals. Perhaps I have a larger frame. I'm 5'8 and my goal is 150-155.
Who knows, goal may change when I get there.
I'm 20 lbs away...I've been focusing more on BF% and fit level than I have on the scale number.

I'm built like a man I'm incredibly broad.
But having said that, I don't recall a time being smaller than this so when I get there I might change my mind, but anything below 182lb is amazing for me!0 -
I'm also 5'8 and I'd like something between 150-155... I have no reference material whatsoever because I've been overweight the biggest part of my life. I really like my curves though and I have the feeling that if I go lower than 140 I will lose them.0

I'm 5'8" and just weighed in today at 137 (woohoo!) after being stuck at 141-143 for SO long. My goal weight is around 133-135, so I'm getting close...I'm more concerned about toning up right now. A year ago I weighed in at a consistent 139 but my body was way tighter than it is now.0

Another working on toning and trading fat for muscle. Scale doesn't move much so I'm relying on BF, measuring tape, evident signs of muscle definition and how my clothes fit.0 -
a lot of factors go into this like bone structure and body type, but if you can get toned and stay around 140 that should be great for you. Just remember that runway models look better with clothes on. The camera is adding weight and they still look like pretty skeletons. I would prefer a toned 140 5'8'' every time..:happy:
The camera do's not add weight, it just shows you what is really there.
I do agree models are to skinny
I am aiming to just be healthy and not go by a number on a scale, I do have a pair of size 9's I would love to fit into though.0 -
I'm around 5'7.5" and my goal is 135-140ish? bodyfat % is more my goal, would like to be around 17-19%, muscle like Oxygen magazine girls who are usually 135-138lbs around my height.0
