I like the idea of a private group.
I'm 43 years old, married for 22 years and have a teen son. I know nothing else than being fat and fighting the fight. I'm in a good place mentally to set and achieve goals. Eager to get to know everyone, feel the support and gain motivation.0 -

I would love this! Needing some motivation to get past my platoue(sp?) Ive been in for the past few weeks. I just started MFP about a week ago and its really helped to get the weight to shake off a little more and a challenge is just what i need!

At 5 weeks, I hope this is very doable - I'm running 3x per week and trying to do something else the other 4 - even if its just walking the dog or taking my daughter down the street to meet the bus. If I can take off 5-7 pounds per month, every month the rest of the year, that will be 50-70 pounds - and will get me almost to goal weight!0
