OMG you are incredible!! Your body is just beautiful, I'm so impressed! You're also a couple of years older than me and that in itself is really inspiring as people have been telling me that at 43 I'm too old to do this the eat more and lift heavy way... you prove that isn't the case. To come back from the hell you've suffered and to do this - wow. just wow! I'm am totally inspired by you - thanks so much for sharing ;-)

You are never too old to lift weights and in fact, the older you are the more important it is. You do not need to get into power lifting or anything like that, but any form of strength training at any age has health benefits as well improving body composition. If you have not done any before, just start off slowly and ease into it. You never know, you might catch the bug and want to take it to the next level.

Was that a 200-500 deficit per week or per day ? If per week, if my maths are correct, that would average about a pound lost per 7 weeks ?

Your story and your transformation are amazing!!! And thank you for the information! Seems like there are so many different ways to go about losing weight that I'm to the point of being confused, but when I see transformations like yours, it makes me think that's the route I need to go. I have a lot of reading to do. But again, congrats on such an awesome transformation!!

Sorry for the confusion - that was a typo that I could not edit when spotted later. I was at a 200 - 500 deficit a day.
