I seem to be stuck at the moment. Maybe a challenge will be good for me.

I am trying to do more body weight exercises to improve muscle tone this month. So far going ok. Clothes are feeling looser!

I'm in. but sure if I am posting this right. I am buy an elliptical machine today and will strart that. It will be fun to watch me go for 3 minutes to as long as I want.

So not a great start to the month. :grumble: But I am happy to report that I am on Day 7 of being smoke free and in fact lost 1/2 a pound. :happy: At least that shows I am not substituting cigs for food (or at least not bad food). I think this will be a slow month for weight loss but it will keep coming off. I won't give up til I find my better body!!!!! I can hope next week will be better (but TOM is supposed to arrive) so maybe not but the 21st will be my great day :laugh:

Congratulations! That is a really big decision that you take for yourself and your body will thank you for this sooner than you think. It's been 7 years that I quit smoking and I will never touch a cigarette again. A little trick: when you crave for a smoke, do few jumping jacks or something else cardio. After that you wont want smog in your lungs and you will burn extra calories!

I am training for a half marathon on April 7 so that training will be most of my fitness in March!
3/1 started this morning with a quick 3 mile run
3/2 did my "long" run for the week - 8 miles in under 1hour 20 minutes - YEAH!
3/3 3 mile recovery run at a good pace - just under 10 minute mile.
3/4 3 mile run
3/5 3 mile run in the rain at 35 degrees - brr!
3/6, 3/7, 3/8 total of 9 miles (3 per day)
3/9/13 - long run today 9 miles
decided I would like 110 miles in March -have 38 done, 72 to go

No change this week, I'm ok with that as I've had steady losses for all of February. I've upped my weights for my weight routine and have recently attempted deadlifts for the first time. I haven't done any cardio that isn't part of daily life, I'll be attempting to go on a walk with the kids tomorrow. Nothing new this month, getting married in 3 months so busy planning that but will be making plans to start swimming again after the honeymoon.0 -
I'm in! This is going to be my first full month of MFP so I am excited to try this challenge.

No particular plans to try a new form of exercise this month as I am still getting into a routine and trying to figure out what works best for me. At this point it is more about establishing an exercise "habit" rather than trying new things!
