I've still never eaten one (or seen one, for that matter - just not that big where I live) but I do believe in the philosophy behind it!

A cheap flour pastry filled with sugar and joy? Heck yes I believe.

That is about as apt a description as you can get.

Of there was ever a definitive "Oh Shlt" moment in the history of mankind, that was a symbolism of it. I wonder if they lived, since thecamera seem to have survived and the area wasn't totally destroyed.

I feel that other junk food is getting neglected... I'm offended and think you people are prejudiced against everything non-poptart.

    DONUTS!

That's what I'm missing. Tomorrow is donut day.
  • Seriously though, what the hell is in pop tarts? Niacinamide? Corn syrup AND high fructose corn syrup AND sugar AND dextrose (all sweeteners!). 200 calories for ONE of those flat little tasteless rectangles that conveniently come in packages of 2? I'll have like 100 raspberries on a giant bowl of oatmeal or two eggs and turkey bacon thanks. (Can you feel the hatred for processed prepackaged food yet? lol)

Can't help ya on ice cream. If it's legitimate whole-ingredient (read, creamier and more delicious) ice cream, eat it. Maybe just not all the time?

I know! It takes a true visionary to fit every kind of nutritive sweetener in the world into one joyous pastry.

That is about as apt a description as you can get.

you have to learn to appreciate the simple things in life.

ever try to shove those raspberries in the toaster in order to get a warm, sweet and delicious treat?

also, turkey and bacon do not belong next to one another.

:drinker: The turkey bacon fad needs to go.

I did, however, almost buy some turkey jerky today. I think it can pass there. though, to be fair, it paled in comparison to the bacon jerky sitting next to it.

    These statements don't mesh.

Unless it came from a pig, it ain’t bacon.

If it ain't bacon but it looks like bacon... someone or something made it that way.
