    it doesn't look like ketchup and it doesn't taste like ketchup, but it's the right ketchup for steak.

    Ketchup is for hamburgers, not steak.

    A1 if you MUST, but a good, properly cooked and seasoned steak (simple is best, salt, pepper, garlic) doesn't need anything and stands on it's own.
