The 2 lb gain is due to eating later than usual and weighing in very early in the morning. I was 120 lbs yesterday morning and I am pretty sure I didn't gain 2 lbs in less than 24 hours. Even w/the 2 lb gain I'm withing my ultimate goal weight so I'm happy.0 -

Good morning and happy Monday to all! Today is week 9 day 1 of the P90X program so it was a chest and back day. It's amazing what you begin to appreciate after a little break. Since I really hated the push ups done in the chest, shoulders and triceps workout it made me really appreciate the ones completed in the chest and back workout. I really rocked out this workout today and I'm very proud of myself. My plan is to do ab ripper this afternoon b/c just don't have the time in the morning unless I get up before 5 am and I have no plan to do that.0

Yesterday I was at 232.2 - damn scale didn't like me this morning for my official weigh-in! :grumble:
This will be a week of determination for me! I WILL do my Jillian workouts & C25K! I need to step it up this week! I want to be under 230 next week if it kills me! I really want to be at 228.5 next Monday!.
By the way...I posted some of my before pics & also some pics that were taken the beginning of this month. So you can see some of my changes already.

OMGosh i'm getting really frustrated with myself. I've been slacking this last couple of weeks. I don't even know what happened, but my motivation has been low. Of course, it doesn't help when people around me tell me how great I look and all that, because I know I can get to my goal and those last 10 to 15 lbs would be me acheiving it. I need to buckle down and get serious again. I know I can do it. But I wanted to post my real weights I'm going to change my trigger again back to 174 b/c I want to be accountable for my real weight loss journey. Thank you all so much for your support.
This week, I'm going to not miss any of my workout and try to incorporate additional stuff, I made myself a mini home gym that I have not taken advantage of.0 -
No weigh in for me this week, but I do think I'm not doing TOO bad.:laugh: Really difficult with all the wonderful food my aunt likes to serve, and all the cookies she likes to bake. (There are currently 3 different kinds in the kitchen:ohwell: and I them all!) My uncle does have a workout room (he was a regional weightlifting champion for the 60+ crowd several years back). There's a treadmill and a bike in there. I'm going to try to use one or the other every day to help with my exercise.
Well, back to studying! Only 4 chapters and 14 articles left to read and take notes over!0 -

I'm a California girl, currently stuck in Las Vegas, Nevada, and trying desperately to get back to Cali. :laugh: I've been married for 6 years (together for almost 11) to my best friend and the love of my life. We don't have any kids yet (besides our three kitties), as the hubby just finished law school and is studying to take the bar exam this summer -- but it's possible we'll start trying within the next year.
I have a B.A. in English and certificate in Paralegal Studies -- I was a paralegal for 2 1/2 years after graduating from college, but recently quit to be a stay at home wife, to focus more on my health, and to start writing - which has been my dream for a very long time. I'm a huge sci fi/fantasy nerd. I love stories -- be it from books, movies, TV, or video games -- I can get completely wrapped up in something with a good story. I hope to translate that love of stories into a fruitful writing career in the near future.0 -

guess things will be changing for me alot this summer. my dh has accepted a new job in Lincoln, Nebraska. we haven't moved in years, and 2 of our kids- oldest son and daughter in college here will remain here in Boise, Idaho. i will really miss them, and the mountains, and the low humidity. the youngest daughter is actually in college in missouri, so we will be much, much closer to her. my next few weeks will go by in a flash as we get ready and go.0 -

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday! This is going to be a busy work week b/c we're under a lot of pressure to complete our reviews by the end of the week. In addition, to reviewing case files I'm also training a new employee so needless to say I've been hopping. I stayed at work late yesterday and was exhausted that after letting dinner digest I went straight to bed. I woke up to TOM cramps and really debated whether to substitute today's workout w/something a lot lighter.
Today is week 9 day 2 of the P90X program which means it PLYOMETRICS. I really considered substituting the plyometrics dvd b/c of the cramps then I said I would only complete have the workout but once I got going I decided to really dig deeper and bring it and 60 minutes later I had burned almost 400 calories. I'm very proud of myself b/c even w/the cramps in the stomach and lower back I completed EVERY move and did not modify ANYTHING.....WOOHOO, WOOHOO, WOOHOO!0 -

Gained a lb this week...not going to complain too much about it because it is TOM, but I could have done better. My daughter turned 4 this weekend, which meant we had lots of chocolate cupcakes and ice cream left around the house. So yeah...I was bad this weekend. But, today is a new day, and the sweets are gone, and will not be back for a long time lol. This week I am going to stay under my calories and take the kids swimming at least 6 days for my workouts.0 -

OK - I know its only been a day but I was determined yesterday & earned my one pound loss! I'm down to 232.4! :bigsmile: I drank 25 - 8oz of H20 for the day. :drinker: I did my belly dancing workout, 2 quick walks, C25K Wk1/Day1, and a bike ride. That pound is DEAD to me! I'm still going to work my butt off today and the rest of the week so that the scale shows well in my favor for next week!
Katie - Good luck with your move! and a big shout out for your 119 pounds lost! Excellent! :bigsmile:

Good morning and happy HUMP DAY! Well today is the deadline to have our work assignment completed and we're on track to get it done but in order to ensure it we will be working late. I have to go and get started therefore this will be a short post and I apologize in advance for not responding to other's posts. I hope to be able to read over everything later.
