I'm beginning to see a pattern here.... But I'm fine with it because a) it was a planned week of indulgence, the kids are away and we are having some fun. And b) I can see a difference that the scale is not telling me. I highly doubt I will get into the 150s this month, but I am still working hard and it will happen soon.0 -

I am training for a half marathon on April 7 so that training will be most of my fitness in March!
3/1 started this morning with a quick 3 mile run
3/2 did my "long" run for the week - 8 miles in under 1hour 20 minutes - YEAH!
3/3 3 mile recovery run at a good pace - just under 10 minute mile.
3/4 3 mile run
3/5 3 mile run in the rain at 35 degrees - brr!
3/6, 3/7, 3/8 total of 9 miles (3 per day)
3/9/13 - long run today 9 miles
3/15 - have another 18 miles.
3/16 - 10 mile training run today
3/17-3/20 logged another 11 miles
3/21 and 3/22 7 miles
3/23 10 mile training run
3/24 and 3/25 4 miles
decided I would like 110 miles in March -have 98 done, 12 to go
hope to make it on miles....doubt I make the 5 pounds

OK, I am going to just accept that my body is revolting against me because I gave up smoking on 3/1. I heard someone say that the average weight gain is 7 pounds when you quit smoking. So based on that, I am going to tell myself that I have actually lost 8 pounds because I kept from gaining the 7 and lost 1 myself. I am going to keep going forward to push for the end of the month to see if I can get a .5 off.
Watch out April - I am coming!!!!! I will be traveling for 3 weeks for work (which means corporate expense account for meals and lots of eating out) but that also means I booked myself only in hotels with a gym. I am going to bust out the exercise while I have gym equipment available.0 -

End of the month. Well virtually the end of the month, and yeh only 2 grams off my goal! A great result for me! I didn't think it would be possible!
I am trying to do more body weight exercises to improve muscle tone this month. So far going ok. Clothes are feeling looser!
