I am trying to make it through The Host but it just isn't doing it for me
Really? I devoured it, and still have a little book hangover from it I loved it.

I'm currently reading Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult, The Infernals by John Connolly and trying to decide if I want to finish Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin. I put it down quite a while ago and I'm still angry.

Regosaki...if you had to pick one book as your favorite (it sounds like you have read a lot!) what would it be?

Bound for Glory by Woody Guthrie! How about you?

Currently reading The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin. I'm loving it. She's a new author. Love her style.

Last book read, Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye by Elle Phillips. Good book, but outdated by newer research. Found that out after reading it.

All time favorite story... Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean Auell. Fun to imagine the origins of humans.

I just finished Before I Go To Sleep by S.J Watson and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, I've so many books on my Kindle that I want to read but I also bought all the Twilight books so I can re-read them soon but I think that my next read will be The Host by Stephenie Meyer as well as Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. n.n

I read Hugo's "Hunchback of Notre Dame" late last year a few weeks before we visited his tomb here in Paris, he was a brilliant teller of tales I just wish he was a little more succinct, he tends to over egg the descriptive pudding, it's almost as though he takes pleasure in describing the minutest details...Still he is a literary legend.

That is a fascinating triumvirate of life stories, certainly 3 to go onto the fantasy dinner party guest list........Bagsy sitting next to Keith Richards!!!!

That was such a good series until the last 2 books. I can't believe we never found out what happened to Durc. So annoying.

I have the George R R Martin box set sat on my shelf, but I cant seem to bring myself to start it as I know I shall watch the show anyway (I know I am such a heathen! the books are always better, but where this show is concerned I am weak...DAMN YOU HBO!)

That was a good series. The first book hooked me so much, I started it at 11 pm (terrible habit) and finished it at 2:30 am. I've read all the BDB series but it makes me roll my eyes. A lot.

I suggest the "As the World Dies" trilogy by Rhiannon Frater. It has 2 female heroine's in it, but if you love Zombie books, I'm sure you'd approve. I was obsessed.
