How to dump a guy without being mean?

Being nice isn't working so you have to be mean straight up tell him its over don't call me or text me. Don't take no phone calls or reply to any messages. Move on with your life and if he wants to stay in the past that is his problem. But be careful and watch your back. Some people can be controlling and won't take no for an answer. Stay safe and let family and friends know what is going on and let them know where you are going and how long you think you might be there. You can never be to safe. This world is full of monsters and you never know who they are. Good Luck!!!!!!!

The problem here is assuming that harm has to be done first to warrant a police call. What about preventing possible harm? The average sized man is larger than an average sized woman and can hurt her even if he shows up without a weapon. Not saying that every man is going to try to hurt a woman who broke up with him, but the crazy violent ones aren't labelled so how is she supposed to know if he's needy or dangerous?

Women shouldn't call police every time they throw a hissy fit or have an argument, but if she truly feels she could be In danger, I say go for it. Or at least threaten him with a restraining order, let him know you're documenting every attempt at contact. Hopefully he will realize that stalking is only romantic in chick flicks where it's scripted. :huh:

I'm sorry I always had to get mean. I'd start nice and they'd always think they could get me back. Then I'd get mean, meaner and finally they probably thought I was such a ***** they didn't want to stay in a relationship with me.
