    Welcome to all the newbies!! I am happy to see so many of us returning from the last challenge! Thanks to everyone who helped to keep the list updated! I think we have everyone so far :)

    Man oh man.... My final weigh in for June was this morning. I started eating back all of my exercise cals this week in hopes of really boosting my metabolism. I was still 750- 1000 calories under maint most days. It was actually pretty much fun to see all of the calories still left at the end of the day and eat them, but most of the time I was eating them when I wasn't even slightly hungry. Then Wednesday we took our kids to a chocolate factory tour, and I totally sabotaged my day with chocolate, but it was oh so good.

    Then yesterday was my b-day, and my hubby surprised me with a carrot cake (oh dear) and grilled burgers on the grill for lunch. THEN took me to Texas Roadhouse (a steakhouse) for my bday dinner. OMG did I eat.... by the time we left, I was so sick.

    Laying on the couch 4 hours later, I was DYING of thirst. I felt like I had been through a sandstorm and eaten mouthfuls of sand. But I was still so full, that I could barely sip water without feeling like I was going to be sick. I couldn't even lay down horizontally, because doing so made my throat burn from the stomach acid! I laid there thinking about what I had done to myself. Had I enjoyed it? NO, not really. Actually not even a little bit. It didn't feel good to be stuffing that garbage into my mouth. I had wanted to order a dinner salad, but ordered an entree figuring I would catch h*ll from my hubby for ordering a salad for dinner on my b-day. The dinner didn't even taste good. I could feel the effect the food had on my body both times where I filled it with crap. I had no energy, and was sluggish and grumpy and sick to my stomach. I didn't want to exercise.

    All of this is a positive change. I no longer CHOOSE to be destructive to myself. Eating good foods that fuel my body and give me energy feels so much better than what I used to get out of stuffing myself.

    Anyway, long story short, all of this, coupled with TOM being due tomorrow, resulted in a +4 pound gain. LOL, oh dear me. I knew this morning it was going to be bad, but I chose to take responsibility for it. I do believe it to be mostly water weight.

    So, this has me reassessing my goals for the month of July. I am changing my number from 6 pounds to 10. That 4 pounds of (hopefully) water is going to make it look like I hit my goal when I really haven't. I hope it will be gone and then some next week. I am going to work more on just listening to what my body needs rather than some arbitrary idea of "needing to eat all of my exercise calories" or some random number of calories.

    Cnbethea- I am with you in having problems with losing my focus on the weekends lately. I am considering changing my weigh in day to Monday. I am hoping that this may help me avoid the weekend temptations, but I fear that the reality will be that I will just have bad weigh ins every week! LOL.

    I haven't logged my gain yet. I am deciding if I want to drink water like crazy today, and reweigh tomorrow to see what happens.

    My way too saying good bye to all of the excuses and self sabotaging......I rewarded myself with a hair cut these last pass 6mnths have been rough but I am over that it's time to make these next 6 all about improving and getting better!! I promise to stop looking at all the negative factors in my life and start building on the positive ones no matter how big or small they may be!!

    I did the june challange and also thats when i started my weight loss journey when i weighed in i was 293.0 pounds as of June 1st as of July 1st i am 271.4 pounds i would like to be under or close to 260.0 pounds the end of july well stay motivated and stay strong

    I've been tracking for a bit on MFP and am down over 40 pounds since mid-February. I would be jumping for joy if I can lose another 10 pounds in July. I weigh in on Thursdays so I have a starting weight for this challenge as of end of June.

    Do people chat on this topic group, or just join the monthly weigh in?

    Good morning everyone,

    I'm just coming in here to stay accountable over the weekend and not over do it I did great yesterday I didn't track my food but it was a good day breakfast was kind of high but I curved the rest of the day to fit!! I actually haven't logged food or exercise for the last 3 days so I am going to be back on track with that today

    Welcome to all of the newbies glad to have another great group for the month of July feel free to stop in for tips and ideas, advice or just to vent we are all here to support each other efforts!!

    Hey everyone, I would like to come back for July as well. Didn't do that great in June. I injured my ankles and had to stop the Insanity program. I almost gave up but I've decided to get back on the horse (or bike, lol). For now I will bike for cardio and hopefully can work back into running this month.

    I had a great diet and water day yesterday, so I decided to weigh in again this morning to see if yesterday's 4 pound gain was still there. I was down 2.9 from yesterday, so only a 1.1 gain for the week last week. With TOM due, I can deal with that :)

    Good Morning Everyone! I decided to take a peek at my weight this morning (since TOM is gone) and I have lost all of my water weight and then some (4.4lbs to be exact! :noway: )..
    So with that being said, I'd like to up my loss goal for the month of July from 5lbs to 10. It's a holiday weekend so watch what you eat and drink LOTS of water. Be safe and have a wonderfully blessed weekend :flowerforyou:

    Sunshine that is awesome girlie, yeah you would have knocked 5lbs out the box quick way to challenge yourself and go for 10 keep up the great work!!! Have a wonderful 4th and who knows on Monday it may be even more!!!:flowerforyou:

    Hi can I join this group? My name is Michelle, i'm a mother of 4 boys and since May of last year i've been trying to get ride of all the weight from all those pregnancies. lol I'm a procrastinator but with my birthday coming up next month I have a goal of making it to at least 140. So my goal for July is to lose 10 lbs.
