As the mother of three beautiful daughters and a first grade teacher, I am constantly reminded of how wonderful life could be for everyone if we just acted the way young children do... with a pure heart and good intentions and without judgment of others. Every day my faith in society is restored.

    My daughters.
    My wife.
    My friends.
    Observing people triumph over adversity.
    Observing people be vulnerable.
Watching the sarcastic, snarky, twisted, depraved, immoral, reprehensible people on my friends list demonstrate patience, kindness and humility when helping others on this site.

I'm not a religious person, but it warms my heart when I actually see people living what Jesus preached and not just spewing it when it works in their favor.

This, and while I genuinely detest my culture for various good reasons I do have to admit it gives me hope that Americans rarely kill each other for religious reasons.
