Can I see some photos before and after of noticeable physical change but not so much on the scales, this is for me and other people who get discouraged by the weight on the scales not going down as much as they would like.

I think it really depends on how big the person is. People have a lot weight to lose are going to lose quite a bit regardless. I saw a success story yesterday on here of a girl who's before picture was about 110 and after was 120, she looked amazing at 120.. It was definitely all muscle gain.
I will go two weeks without really losing any weight on the scale yet the measuring tape will show good improvement, and I am not a small girl - 148 pounds and 5'3.0 -

Do you know the link to this thread please, sounds like a good one to look at, iv gone up 3lbs in 2 weeks but lost 1 and half inches from my waist Its great to see it in other peoples photos though0 -
There is a thread somewhere on a woman whose weight did not change (130 lbs I believe) but made a significant change to her body. search it I guess?0
-
It's not a huge change...but if you look at my profile pic, the picture in the middle and the picture on the left are at the exact same weight (164.4 lbs)
Also, check out this thread:

There also one on a woman who went down to 125 and decided she needed to add a few lbs. She looked amazing at 129 vs not as good at 125.
It all comes down to BF%. My wife would not take pics, she has lost around 4-5 lbs (on the scale) but her waistline and legs have transformed. Take measurements. Best thing a woman can do. I also recommend pics every 30 days. This way you can look at your progression pic when you need some self motivation.0 -
It's not on MFP, but for some real inspiration, check out the link below. This woman went from 170 to 117, started lifting and went from 131 to 142 and looks amazing at 142. Includes pics.

I've got two pics of me, the first (yellow sports bra) I was around 122-123 and the second pic taken a few months later I'm at 119. Not a huge amount on the scale but you can definitely see my abs are more toned. Actually this pic might not help at all because the mirror I took the picture in is leaning against a wall and I realized I look way shorter and my legs look stumpy. Oh well, I can't just copy and paste it in here but I'll add it on my profle. I'll try to find a better picture and have someone else take it.0

I have gone from a size 14 to a size 10 (and even some 8s), an XL top to a M and the scale has only moved 14 pounds.0 -

Start looking at men's/women's physique modeling sort of the more mainstream version of bodybuilding... you'll see people gain weight and look leaner because they've lowered their body fat % but not their weight.0

Hi There Sadyel - just read a post about you wanting picture of size change and not much weight change - Im not sure i have the pics ( my personal trainer has them!!) But i do have the measurements
SW: 76kg
after 6 weeks on 1200 cal diet and 3/4 bootcamp style exercise sessions i was this
73kgs.. sounds so disappointing doesnt it!!!!...however i had lost
4cm off my waist
2-3cm of each thigh
6cm off widest hip measurement
3 cm off chest/back fat!!!!
and biceps were down 1 cm each
So nearly 18cm of body fat measurements in total!! I went from a sz 14 snug to 12 upper and 12 lower but snug ( i do have a pear shape and unfortunately my grandmothers rather generous glutes!!)
Ill do some hunting around for photos and see if i can post them for you and other who are feeling a bit discouraged when the scales dont show much for all the effort you are putting in!
But please keep on going!!!! Read some of the Body For Life success stories and you will see that after about 8 weeks of building up some muscle ONLY then do they start to see a shrinking in their size and weight!!0 -
I posted a topic about this not too long ago. It's the same pic as my profile, but here is a link to the post so you can see a bigger picture: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/885648-nsv-the-scale-is-a-lie
I weigh the same in both pictures. 148 at 5'2.0 -

I have to upload current photos but this was 10 pounds and 3 inches off my waist in a month.

Bumping. I can't be of help, but hopefully someone else can.0
-
If you can see it in my profile picture. I started at 163lb and am now 156lbs. Scale hasnt moved much but I see a HUGE difference in my size! (I am 5'7'')0
-
I am at work so can't upload pics to a server to share... but my profile pic is just 30 days of progess with the scale not really moving much at all.
I am doing Turbo fire, so that was my 30 day results pic... I have a side shot too but haven't posted that yet. I lost only about 5 lbs in the month, but inches all over (arms, waist, hips).0 -
I think you'll have to right click on the image and select "view image" to see the whole thing. I don't know how to resize it without it being too small since the image is so long.
First pic is 152 before lifting.
Second pic is 30 days later at 149.
Third pic I'm 153. There's 30 days between the second and third pic. 60 days from the first pic.
As you can see not a lot of difference between the first and second but a noticeable difference between second and third and I weigh more but went from a size 10 jean to a size 8 (exact same jeans so not due to sizing variation between brands/companies).
