  • Congratulations all you "losers" out there (meant in the nicest of ways, although it doesn't sound that way...) Keep it up! :happy:

    Even with a very physically intense last 7 days despite the ridiculous heat wave here, I seem to be somewhat stuck at my current weight. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful I haven't gained, just been working very hard :ohwell: ah well... what can we do, right? just keep eating well and exercising hard and it'll come off eventually...

    I certainly know what you mean I am so glad that you maintained instead of gaining and you also maintained a level head to keep pushing foward good for you!!! I am very nervous about facing the scale on monday but I plan on doing the same in case the scale don't show up for me I will keep pushing foward I know the inches are dropping and my energy level is up so we have other ways to measure our success other than the scale with a mind of it's own!!! Keep staying strong!!

    My time to face the scale is in the AM I have worked out for 7 days straight I sure hope the scale will be kind tomm but we shall see!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend I am actually on track all the way through.Let me not speak too soon I have B-day party this evening!!

    Hey guys. I just had the most awesome salad with chicken. It was both light and filling. Yum! I was actually planning on doing worse this weekend because Saturday was my husband's birthday and I had a company baseball game to go to. Even though we went to breakfast (hubby had to work that night), I really wanted nachos with jalapenos at the game. Well, I never got to have them. Aww/Yay! Sooo, I guess I did pretty good. Not sure how my Thursday weigh in will go with TOM. I'll just do my best.

    Alright guys talk about a blow that can totally knock the wind out of my sail I stepped on the scale after 550 mins of working out and I was down 0.8 all I can say is really that's it ok so the plan for this week is to really buckle down on my food this time plus anothe great workout week is on the way. I will see what that bring 3weeks left something will work!!!

    Glad to hear it was a good weekend!

    cnbethea - wow you're workin out like crazy! Are you doing p90x?? I know that "do your best" line all too well... not doing the full program currently, but do still squeeze in the ab ripper every 2-3 days. Tony Horton is crazy, but what a workout!

    potentially not eatting ENOUGH? that can be just as bad... I actually increased my daily calorie intake about 3 months ago, around the same time when I shed off 10lbs. Also increased daily protein intake. Might help if you're burning that many calories with weight training involved...

    Hello! Sounds excellent to me! I would like to loose 6lbs by the end of the mo. My end goal is to loose 10lbs. I just want to stick to exercising and eating healthier!

    Happy Monday my fellow losers or should I say gainers and maintainers. I am so proud of you all for working out so hard and most importantly finding time to post. You all are so motivational.

    cnbethea- hang in there girl it must surely happen for you. so proud of you. 0.8lb may not seem like much but there are several ways of measuring success, losing inches, like fitting into that size 8 skirt! awesome and getting stronger.

    For my humble self, weighed in this morning at 225.6lbs. That was a gain of 1.4lbs. Okay, this week I hurrt my right foot while on treadmill ang it got swollen. I havent been on it for several days now and I have actually learn something about myself during this journey. i might do my 30D shred, add in no trouble zone, do some weight training and am still not gonna lose any weight unless I do the 30 mins of treadmill. any way here to hoping that it will get better and good luck everyone. You guys are awesome

    ifychudy: So sorry about your foot! I hope it heals quickly. :flowerforyou: I just realized the same thing about the cardio. I do 30DS and BL Boot Camp and occasionally walk with the kids but without a true cardio session the "soft" outer layer won't go away.

    Today was a rough day at work. I am drained. I don't want to workout! (That must be my inner child speaking.) I didn't workout Sat or Sun though. Maybe I'll find some motivation in the next 2 hours.

    Whew, I'm starting to come out of my "funk". I hate this time of the month. At least there are 2 more weeks left in the month! I will take my own advice tonight and force myself to workout! How's everyone else doing?

    Can I join...? I know it is the middle of the month...but I just started on here yesturday. I would like to lose at least 3 pounds (if not more) by July 31st. I know that isn't much but it is my goal right now...hopefully with all I am doing I will be losing more and more then just 3 pounds.

    well the weight loss seems to be more than a fluke, so I'm happy to say I'm down 2.5lbs now! (2.5 more to go!) I'm at 17.5lbs lost since Feb 2010 now :happy: I started the year in a rut after months of working out by myself and thinking my diet was pretty good but not seeing any results. I tried p90x. I tried the Jillian 30 day shread. I play sports 2-3 times per week but I was having minimal success.
    MFP has taught me so much more about what I was actually eating and adding a personal trainer was the BEST money I've ever spent :smile: Having the support and encouragement you can find on the message boards is HUGE too!
    Keep at it everyone! I'm a believer now that anyone can get fit and healthy! Way to go July group :flowerforyou:

    Halfway through the month and I've lost 3 lbs. It's not quite the 5lbs I would have hoped for to be on track to reach my goal of 10lbs this month, but I am happy with any progress! Good luck everyone! :)

    We have 2 more weeks to reach our goals however it's not to realistic for me to reach my goal at this point I'm still keeping my head held high because if I know I am giving my best and looking for such a big number at least I have to lose something at least that is my goal!!!

    I am back from Cuba yesterday after a fantastic 2 weeks holiday :-)
    Thanks Tattoo for keeping the group plus many new faces going, thats just great.
    Well I dont get my official weigh in until next wednesday but I did pop onto my scales when I got home and it looks like I STS which I am so happy with considering calories were out of the window when I was away :-)
    Right well back to the hard work again now.
    As its now mid July, I wont set my target to high, so from now until the end of July I will aim to lose 4lbs :-), thats 2lbs for my next 2 weigh ins until the August group is rolling.

    Happy Saturday Everybody! I apologize for not posting very much. I haven't had a lot of time to read up on the earlier posts, but in looking at all the "down" numbers posted below it seems everyone is doing great. Was there any doubt! LOL!

    I just wanted to update everyone on my July results so far. I have lost 7 pounds! I wanted 6 for the whole month so I'm absolutely ecstatic right now. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it, but I was diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency a couple of weeks back and so far I've started taking MEGA D pills twice a week that my doctor prescribed, and I feel like new person. I've been plagued by muscle pain, joint pain, chronic fatigue, skin issues, swelling, and so on for the past 3 years. In only a week and a half it seems like everything is just gone. I feel wonderful!

    So that's my update. I hope everyone is doing well and working their way to their July goals!
