I reached my April goal! Hopefully I'll be able to lose a little more before the end of the month. In even more exciting news, I measured my waist (by far the hardest place for me to lose weight) for the first time in a month, and I've lost 2 inches!0 -
Yay!! Update for April 19th is totally AWESOME!!!
My loss for this week was amazing!!! I am pretty sure there are multiple factors involved. I watched my calorie intake better including over the weekend and I moved more this week. Also I am pretty sure there were some hormonal factors involved but I won't go into details on that one.

Didn't follow my goal for last weekend of staying on track. A few too many bottles of wine were consumed, which also meant the snacks came out. This weekend I am going to make sure that my weekend doesn't derail me. I could make this work so much better if I didn't spend all week trying to undo the damage of the weekends.0 -

Continue working out at the gym for 35-40 minutes Monday to Friday (strength training alternating with cardio). Also starting a walking challenge this month to walk everyday and hopefully when the weather warms up get my bike out on the bike trails.

April 5: 147.5 Finally lost .5 lb. Hope to lose more next week.
April 12: 147 lost 1/2 pound
April 19: 146 lost 1/2 pounds. Glad the scale is moving in the positive direction but hope to lose more next week. !
I had a much better week reducing my calories & not eating snacks such as popcorn at night time I am also cutting down on the butter & salt.
goal for next week: Do more walking, sit ups & also drink more water & reduce my calories.

I have been on the program Take Shape for Life for 2 months and I lost 18 pounds!!! Man it feels so amazing .......... I don't even recognize myself.
I thought I was going to be FAT forever...
It was a miracle program for me.... : )

How do I plan to accomplish this goal? By logging everything and staying accountable on the weekends. I am going to take it one day at a time. I am going to continue to workout 5 days a week at the gym with various classes and add additional more evening runs since its nice out.
