I remember how they would be wrapped in a little package when my mother would buy a whole chicken. She used them in gravy. They aren't one of the foods on my list.

I came on here just to say Brussels sprouts. I LOVE them. They might smell awful when cooking, but they taste SO good.

Spaetzle mit senf und Weiss Schokolade. Sounds gross but it's awfully yummy!
Hmmm....I don't think that anyone could everrrrrr think that those noodles or white chocolate would ever be gross. Gee! What were you thinking? My Oma and mother both came from Germany. Father's side is Italian/German. (Can you say temper?) LOL

    Chocolate covered pickles.

Cheese pizza topped with crushed oreos.

Ground up bologna and pickles on a sandwich with ketchup (no mayo, though, I don't understand people who eat that with mayo)

I also love pickled bologna but my husband thinks it's the most foul stuff on earth. I don't think it's that unusual, though.

Balut is the grossest thing I've ever had a chance to try(which I refused)

    The ones I love:
    Rocky Mountain Oysters(aka bull/sheep testicles)
    Pickled anything: fish, eggs, gizzards

    Liver and onions.

And Scrapple - its a Pennsylvania Dutch thing made from all the stuff they don't put into hot dogs, Sliced and fried, it's the best!

SCRAPPLE!!!! Mmmmm. Now I have to go get some. And dip it in a bit of ketchup.
You know, living in Maryland my whole life I had no idea this was a fairly local thing until I visited someone in Nevada. They had no idea what they were missing.
  • black pudding / blood pudding

Contains rye and wheat flour, (pig’s) blood, lard, onions, flavourings. A popular Christmas food here.
