Details are on page 2 of this topic. I will re-post them again tomorrow to get us all ready for Wednesday. I want to thank everyone for the great response, this is my first time running a challenge like this. I can see adopting it for lunges, crunches, and other exercises.

sounds great! Today is my first day on this site. How do we keep track? How do I keep track of everyone's comments as we go? Do I return to this thread? Sorry so many questions. I'm just learning.

I will start a new thread each day for this challenge I think that will be the easiest. Then everyone can check in and discuss how their progress is going and such.

Yes, there is a 100 pushup challenge. I'm doing that along side the squat challenge.....on my 6th day of both. For the pushups, you start out by doing as many pushups as you can and the next day add one more and keep doing that everyday until you reach 100 pushups.

I'll give it a try if I can find an acceptable alternative to the squat I was shown by my trainer. Right now BOTH knees are acting up, so can't get much past parallel, which isn't deep enough to make a difference in muscle tone for me.

I did a squat challenge a couple of months ago. It really tightens the bum. I work in an office and sit almost all day. It gives one the spread. When I need to use the rest room, I do 10 squats before I sit down and 10 when I get up. The boss doesn't notice the extra couple of minutes. It wakes me up. And it gets me closer to my total for the day. I'll go for this challenge.
