Ok, my biggest question is the whole activity level thing. I am picking up a starters strength training program for 20-30mins 3x/week. Plus, MWFSa I do 20 mins of treadmill brisk walking on a steep incline and TTHSu I do 10 mins of elliptical at a pretty high resistance. Other than that, I kinda just sit around in class. Would that be light or moderate?
And as always, very informative post!
Start with the higher number for a few weeks.

Thanks for this!! I was struggling a lot with stalling & not losing, but at the same time got nervous every time I put my numbers in and got around 1800 cals.
Since I've been doing around 1200-1300 (under my BMR) for awhile now, should I gradually increase up to 1800 or just increase all at once?
Also, I'm assuming initial weight gain should be expected since I'm increasing my cals from eating so little for an extended period of time. How long should I wait to see if the numbers I got are working out before I need to recalculate or increase/decrease? Around a month?0 -
Why the hell complicate things? I eat well but sensibly, I log everything I eat, I lift weights ( 5 lbs), I do cardio as well as farm work.. I have been down in weight EVERY weigh in. I've lost about 12" around my waist, the pants I bought 80 days ago are falling off my *kitten*, I have more energy, strength, and stamina. My arms don't jiggle at all anymore, my rear end is firmer and higher. I'm perfectly happy with my progress and delighted with the way I look and feel. I don't know my BMR, TDEE, or body fat percentage, nor do I care.0
