I'm on page 6 and now getting hungry!!
Any of you ladies single? They say the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach lol.

I love to cook but very limited on cooking due to my living situation. Some really really good idea's here thanks for sharing.

Finished, some of the men in this made some really tasty looking things as well. I'm not as fancy as some of the stuff but I'm thinking of restructuring my tiny kitchen to be able to make some of these delicious looking meals!

    Lontong

I'm in Singapore at the moment and so trying to work my way around the food courts and Hawker's places.

Does anyone have any 'must try' dishes for Singaporean/Korean/Indonesian fayre? There's so much stuff I'm at a loss of what to try! I had Nasi Padang for the first time the previous day (sorry no pic as my battery died) which was amazing - the okra was amazing with eggplant.

I know chicken rice is somewhat of a 'signature' dish of Singapore - but I want to try as much stuff as possible! I fancy trying Korean food but wouldn't know where to begin!

If you liked Nasi Padang then you should try nasi kerabu! Its blue-ish rice, and very nice. Try satay! The peanut sauce for dipping is amazing. Go and also find :

nasi lemak, chee cheong fun, char kuey teow (stir fry rice noodles, a little like pad thai), chilli crabs, bak kut teh (pork soup), sambal sting ray/okra/any vegetable/seafood grilled in foil packets, royak, orh chien (oyster omelette), yong tau foo, kaya toast, popiah )spring rolls), teh tarik (pulled tea, usually in mamaks), ice kacang (shaved ice0

most of these can be found in any coffee shop or restaurant around the corner. :D not all of them taste good though, depending on where you eat them, but I don't know the prime spots, sorry. >.<
