Your before pic looks so similar to where I was when I started a year ago. I lost 34 lbs and then stopped for a while. Now I am back at it and I hope that my end result looks as awesome as yours!0 -

I started last August (actually July 28 2012) after seeing a picture of myself in my daughters yearbook. I was a fat unhappy lady. I was done being fat and tired. I used to only drink Diet Coke and my favorite treat was a whole bag of twizzler (the family size). BTW the family size twizzler has 1500 calories.
I have been calories counting since then. I started at low calories 1200/day and felt like crap. I found In Place of a Road Map and Dan in August/September. More research let me to eating more to weigh less is the way to go. Now I eat 1800 calories a day. I was lifting and some cardio but got off track with winter and sick kids. I am going to start again because I love how good I felt about myself while lifting.
I have lost 60lbs. My initial goal was 160lbs ( I am 5'8.5) and a normal BMI. I am rethinking this and leaning more towards a Body Fat percentage of 25-27% . When I get there I can always continue or decide to stop (maintance). So I am not sure how much more I have to loose. Between 20-40lbs.
Here are 2 before and in progress pictures. 265 in August 2012 and 203 April 2013. In the first one you can see my wedding rings on my necklace because my fingers were too fat to fit anymore. My first NSV was when they fit again.

I used to look so bloated everywhere!! Especially my face!!
I love the last photo, you're actually able to see some definition in my arms!
