I carry all of my extra weight (when I have extra weight) in my hips, thighs and butt. But weight training has proved to help change my shape.

5'4" 130-ish pounds (probably more like 135 but I didn't weigh myself back then).

Now - 112 pounds and drastically lowered the hippy-ness and thighs!

    Woooow you look beautiful!!!!!!!!

Okay srsly, how in bloody hell are you guys losing weight in your hips and booty and thighs yet keeping your breasts?! My body won't give up an ounce of booty fat until my rack is completely decimated. I'm going to end up looking more pear shaped than ever at this rate because I'll have nothing left on top to balance it out...sigh. It is, however, highly encouraging that thin thighs may actually fall within the realm of possibility for me.

Oh man this is the EXACT thing that's going on with me right now!!!

not sure if I am a pear or an hour glass. I will get some pictures together eventually once I get a bit closer to goal. I carry most of my weight in my hips and thighs.

You look fantastic. I'm starting with a personal trainer in 2 weeks to start a heavy weights programme. Can't wait to start my 'pear' transformation ;-)

I used to think I was an hourglass under all the fat. 65lbs later and I'm definitely a pear. Running and P90X has been good for my hips and butt, but basically you can't spot-remove fat and you just need to keep going burning fat all over.
I'm getting really bony in my chest, but my lower belly/thighs/hips/butt still have a lot to lose so I'm still working :/

You could call me a pregnant pear, or a papple (pear/apple) I guess. :) Happened w/tracking, and really slimmed out w/lifting. Now I'm just trying to stay in the game after a neck injury sidelined my lifting in February...
