I go shopping every 3-7 days, but this is generally what I get for a weeks worth of food for my husband and myself. And things like meat protein and pastas usually last 2 weeks to a month. Eggs, seafood, and milk products are used up pretty quickly.

    Protein:
    Boneless skinless chicken breasts
    Lean Ground Turkey
    Sardines packed in oil
    Tuna packed in water
    1 Dozen Eggs
Cheese - Sharp Cheddar and Feta
1 lb of raw shrimp with shells on
    1 gallon of milk

    Fruits/Veggies
A bag of clementines/apples/naval oranges for snacking
    Baby carrots
    Avocados - 2
    Baby spinach
    Mushrooms
    Tomatoes
    Yellow onions - 2
    Red onion
    Cucumbers - 2
    Spaghetti squash
    Frozen mirepoix mix
    Frozen spring vegetable mix
    Frozen stir fry mix

    Other:
    Peanut butter
    Ramen noodles
    Fruit bars
    Carb balance tortillas
    Hummus
    Crystal Light
brown rice or whole wheat past
    Kashi cereal
    condiments and seasoning as needed
