I do my shopping almost exclusively at Trader Joe's, because I HATE grocery shopping but TJ's is nice and small. Every week a combination of these staples-

    Fresh Produce:
    Baby spinach
    Kale
    Yellow zucchini
    Pre-cut butternut squash
    Baby green zucchini
    Blueberries
    Strawberries
    Bananas
    Cherry tomatoes
    Avocado
    Spaghetti squash
    Sweet potatoes

TJ'd also has a few difference varieties of mixed frozen veggies, so I typically buy the bell pepper mix and the "hodge podge" mix along with broccoli

    Dairy (or Non-dairy):
    Eggs
    Coconut milk
    Almond milk
    Sliced Havarti cheese

    Meat:
    TJ nitrate free/organic/ turkey slices
TJ's pre-cooked lightly seasoned chicken breasts
    Lean ground beef
    Tuna in water, no salt
    Salmon filets
Trader Jose's precooked carnitas or TJ's pre-cooked pot roast

    Other:
    Diced canned tomatoes
    Raw almond butter
    Whole wheat bread
    Dark chocolate
    Wine
    Ground flaxseed
    Plant Fusion chocolate protein powder
    Belvita cookies
    Pitted dates

What a lovely thread! I am a semi-newb myself and this is helpful. Here's mine from last week.

Frozen skinless chicken tenders (I usually go by 3 tenders = 1 breast)
String cheese (Sorrento sticksters, colby jack)
    Yoplait original yogurt
    2% milk
    Watermelon
    Strawberries
    Special K Cracker Chips
    Frozen peppers
    Frozen onions
    Frozen peas

I think there were a few other things but I can't remember. I shop by the week and I am only one person, so I often have a very small list!

We tend to do just one main grocery shopping per month and then fill in with once a week trips to refresh produce and fruit, things that go bad quicker and any extra meats or staples we might need. Here's a recent list:

Yogurt - plain, greek, 80 calorie cups (some of each)
    salad toppers (the McCormicks ones)
    sandwich thins
    spaghetti sauce (whatever's lowest)
    bbq sauce (whatever's lowest)
rice steamers (because sometimes waiting 45 minutes for brown rice is a pain lol)
    salad mix/spinach
    baby carrots
    shredded carrots
individual skinny cow ice cream cups - various
    chicken breasts
    ground turkey/ground chicken
    turkey cutlets
    soy meatballs
    vegan 'bacon'
    rice cakes
    flatout wraps
    lunch meats
sliced/shredded cheeses (always reduced fat/reduced sodium)
    egg beaters
    celery
    cucumbers
    onions
    apples
    plums
    bananas
    peppers
    cherries
    pork roast
    green chilies
    low sodium black beans
    broccoli
    green beans
    green onions
    italian panko
    asparagus
    fingerling potatoes
    unsweetened vanilla almond milk

We also tend to keep lots of fiber one bars, the 90 calorie ones, in the cupboard for a quick breakfast, and we have 3-4 cases of bottled water delivered every other week, as well as a few cases of diet soda for my partner who just hasn't been able to break the soda habit yet.
