I am doing my challenge holding 5lb weights for a little extra oomph.
Yesterday I did day one and was like "pffft whatever."
BUT today I woke up and my *kitten* was like "*****, we need to talk."
I just did Day 2 and I definitely felt it more. Can't wait to see what I feel like tomorrow morning.0 -
Today starts my 30 Day Squat challenge and a few ppl have been asking me about it... I did some research and found this information... Feel free to add anything in that I didnt mention or other Challenges you may be doing or have completed!
Day 1-50 squats
Day 2-55 squats
Day 3-60 squats
Day 4-Rest
Day 5-70 squats
Day 6-75 squats
Day 7-80 squats
Day 8-Rest
Day 9-100 squats
Day 10-105 squats
Day 11-110 squats
Day 12-Rest
Day 13-130 squats
Day 14-135 squats
Day 15- 140 squats
Day 16-Rest
Day 17-150 squats
Day 18- 155 squats
Day 19- 160 squats
Day 20-Rest
Day 21- 180 squats
Day 22- 185 squats
Day 23- 190 squats
Day 24-Rest
Day 25- 220 squats
Day 26- 225 squats
Day 27- 230 squats
Day 28-Rest
Day 29- 240 squats
Day 30- 250 squats
I am only doing it if some nice lady volunteers to sit on my shoulders while I do my squats0 -
I'm in. Just did my 50 for today & now have wobbly legs. Looking forward to this tough challenge thanks0

Did your research turn up any science on this training approach?
It just looks like a waste of time to me.0 -
I just started this today to build my butt BACK. I always had a great one, even when smaller before. After gaining weight and then losing it, my a** has suddenly disappeared! I want it back.
While I plan to stick with the squat challenge for better legs, strength, and running help, anyone have tips on how to get my booty back?0 -

I started this 2 days ago and boy does it hurt! I'm on my 3rd day today and I keep putting it off because it still hurts from yesterday's 55 (where I did 65 accidentally) I can't bend down without my leg muscles being sore! I will do this though! It's good to see someone said it gets better after the third day!0

How should you do the squats, some people are saying go down, 5 seconds, then up, 5 seconds whilst others are saying down then up slowly :S0

When I started doing squats for the first time I did like 90 not thinking and OMG the next week I had to fall down every time I wanted to sit.0

I just finished this and it made my booty bigger.... but it's hard as a rock0
