Do guys still like girls that look like this?

These women are all gorgeous, regardless of whether or not they've been photoshopped. My husband would dump me in a hot minute if he could have one of these women! Seriously, BONES ARE NOT SEXY!
More body shaming!
Incidentally, is the fact that obesity is sexy the reason you're trying to lose 115 pounds?0 -
You can't be that happy with your appearance since you seem to still have about 50 lbs to lose on your ticker.
dude, wtf?!?0 -

Does it not occur to you that perhaps someone can love their body as well as want to improve it and better their health?
Stop imposing your warped perspective on someone else. How rude!0 -

wow... way to body shame....0 -
Poster said, albeit in a rude way, that the women in the OP should lose weight and exercise.
Another poster says "I hope you're kidding because I'm bigger than they are."
But... that poster is trying to lose weight. And being successful at it! So obviously she agrees with the first poster.0 -

I never said anyone shouldn't love their body. I'm pointing out that this person is already trying to change their body while simultaneously taking offense that someone else thinks obese people should lose weight.0 -

...You just called someone out for body shaming, then body shamed them back?!0 -
It was pretty much a rhetorical question. I've got several girls on my list who have dropped significant weight and still retained their curves, but Yoovie is the most well known of them. She was beautiful when she weighed more, and she is beautiful now.
I can't stand most of what goes on in threads like this, where people are asked about their preferences, because invariably people think it is a contest of "what is better." There are the usual suspects who chime in to praise the body type showcased in the original post and then there are those who feel slighted and have to swing the pendulum back in the opposite direction. No matter what type is posted first, the champions of some other type have to rush in to defend their type. It would be nice to have an appreciation thread that didn't end up in a battle royale, just once.
I agree.
So, how about people say "Yes, I find them attractive" in whatever words they feel compelled to adequately express that. Without saying, "Yes, I find them attractive because skinny is gross and my mother is hideous, I'd never want to look like her, or my mother-in-law, or that lady that has a child in the same class as my child. And all men like the same thing. And now I'm going to say something completely wrong about some other body, weight, shape, or clothing size."0 -

I can't even IMAGINE finding clothes that would properly fit bodies like those.
I barely have an *kitten* and have a pretty ruler straight body, and I STILL have problems finding jeans that fit both my *kitten*, thighs, and waist properly, at the same time.
Those women (if they ACTUALLY look even remotely close to that) must have one helluva time dressing.
Yes, since I am close to that figure shape. Yes you're right. It is hard finding clothes. I am also lucky enough to be just in between petite sizes AND plus sizes simultaneously. So yeah sometimes all the lucky brand clothes don't fit so I mosey over to lane bryant to be told their pants are all too big and be handed a pair to try on to see it's true. Sometimes I think I should just walk around naked. New jean cuts, and stretch in the jeans and tailoring are all blessings to me.0 -
Op, what were trying to gain from this post ?
Hmmm not sure I appreciate the way you phrased that but I will give you the benefit of the doubt this time. Gain? Nothing. It was just a light hearted post with pics to get people talking. (because people always say that the post is worthless without them). This is the Chit-Chat, Fun and Games board calm down... it's just to get people talking.0 -
Nope. All men have one type and one type only. And thats not these girls. They're fat.
OP, if you look like these girls, better start using the stairmaster. Don't lift weights though, they will make you bulky.
I am letting everyone know that you and I do it while on the treadmill eating waffles.0 -
You can't be that happy with your appearance since you seem to still have about 50 lbs to lose on your ticker.
I don't think so.0 -
I'm not body shaming anyone. I am pointing out that these people can't be totally happy with large amounts of excess body fat because they're trying to get rid of it on their own bodies.0 -

Being her friend, she seems happy enough. Were you happy 62 lbs ago? Or did you just cried and got picked on by the cool kids till you finally decided to start moving and eating properly?0 -
My opinion- not that anyone cares - but girls that are sizes 0,1,2,3...etc. get doctored up and airbrushed and photo shopped just the same and no one causes such a fuss! They have cellulite, lines, spots, and acne scars and no one complains that Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Angelina Jolie etc.- get airbrushed, and photo shopped- not to mention the $1,000s of dollars that they can spend on plastic surgery.
Perfect example-porn -NOONE looks like that on a daily basis and if they do they have had so many surgeries there is nothing real on that woman, and it's completely disgusting.
I agree with this thread and what she is trying to say- are bigger women still sexy? YES way more sexy than skinny girls IMO-a friend made the perfect comment last night that put this in perspective for me.
Him: have you ever eaten chicken?
Me: yes
Him: and have you felt the bones?
me: yes
him: well when I am with a woman I don't want to feel like I am holding a piece of chicken with a bunch of bones-I like a women with substance and something to rub.
I agree! A woman is supposed to have curves and be a WOMAN!This preconceived "new age" woman is ruining what a woman should be!
But I agree with this thread whole heartedly but the fact of the matter is in media, internet, advertising, and everything in the public eye now-a-days is doctored up to be what they think we should look like and not what is real! We are perfect they way we are- we need to just focus on being healthy and getting in shape - not PERFECT in the eyes of hollywood.
I mean come on do we want to end up like Amanda Bynes- yes she has a perfect body-perfect boobs, face, hair everything but lets not forget all the plastic surgery-personal trainer-drugs-selling of the body for drugs and THE CRAZY! No thanks hollywood keep your crazy drug sex-crazed personas! I am good with me0 -

Spoke like a true Hulk.0 -
Does this one make you feel better?
Personally, yes, because that's a shape that can occur in nature. On the other hand, compared to the overly photoshopped woman, Marilyn looks almost shapeless.
And that's what I find ridiculous and frustrating about some of those photos. Not all of them, but some of them. When an image is so exaggerated that what many consider the sexiest woman ever can't hold a candle next to them in the curves department, something's gone horribly wrong.0 -

62 pounds ago, I wasn't under the impression that my body was as functional or beautiful as it could be. I don't see what you're getting at.0 -

Really, you are cool with a guy comparing women to pieces of chicken that he is eating? Sounds like a real winner.0 -

You could never possibly know what motivates someone to change their body. People do it for all different reasons.0 -
How many of you realize this thread is just an excuse to argue?0

wow... and the body shaming continues to run rampant....0 -
Also, I think a point is being missed. Yes, some people are here to lose weight (obviously), but that does not mean that they are not exercising and doing the work. And it also does not mean that they deserve to be put down in any way just because they are working towards a goal.0

^ I agree.
The photo of Marilyn is better but she's still a more acceptable/palatable version of 'curvy'. Maybe she wouldn't be such a sex symbol if she had a few more rolls like Beth Ditto:0 -
62 pounds ago, I wasn't under the impression that my body was as functional or beautiful as it could be. I don't see what you're getting at.
See thats the thing. Not everyone is as insecured about their body as you are. Me personally, I was miserable with my body. But after working out and starting to eat right etc I started to love my body.
You can both work on improving your body and still be happy with it. So many folks here who've never been overweight find themselves working hard purely because they're trying to improve their already awesome bodies. And then there are those folks who've never been fat and yet still aren't happy with their bodies. Being happy with your body is a state of mind. Not weight0 -

So because have a rectangular shape (by genetics), and a lower bf% (by choice) . . . I am not a woman? Hmmm . . . . I think my husband and the 2 children I birthed and breastfed would disagree with you- I'm ALL woman baby!!!
This is why these threads SUCK- because OP is looking for validation for her own body type and other people feel that in order to validate her and themselves they have to shame other body types- if you have big t*ts and a big a** and you're happy with it more power to you- but don't put me down because I don't0
