You need to go kiss all the women in your family for your fantastic genes! Hard work aside, you hit the genetic lottery! Gorgeous!

9 months and some change with my third and last son
And now...my youngest is almost 4 years old
My last two pregnancies did a doozy on me with each of them I gained at least 80lbs. My last was an emergancy c section and I came out of the hospital at 200 lbs. I would later gain 10 or so more pounds due to having ankle surgery.
Absolutely Amazing!!!!. My belly looks like the road map of a third world village that just suffered a landslide
Thank you. Thats the one part of not being like my mom that I like. I may have been cursed with the lack of boobs but I didn't get her stretch marks. My sister has them pretty bad too....she swears by coco butter and they have gotten better over time.0 -
Gorgeous ladies...amazing ab transformation......I have a. Question......currently I am not in a position to go to gym. Is there a way to start training my abs at home? Could you suggest some excercises with dumbbell weights? I have couple of them a home. I am currently working on jillian micheals 30day shred and her six week six abs routines. I am losing fat overall. I am disheartened that I am not lifting heavy at the gym. I do squats but with dumbbell weights and I do planks etc. However I guess lifting heavy is what works.....can you ladies give me suggestions please.....and did you all start lifting under a trainer?
I am unable to lift heavy weights due to medical reasons. However I have found that the stability ball and barre type exercises have worked best for me. If you can't get to a gym get a ball and some resistance bands...you will be surprised at what they can do for you.0 -

Well, I don't have visible abs or a flat tummy, but I'm working hard at that area

I have found the most success from doing the Jillian Michaels body revolution program. It's great for moms, on 30mins a day. I didn't manage to do 6 days a week and I still got major results. I have never been more toned in my life. I have a 5yr old and a 19month old. belly button is still a little wrinkly but getting there.0

<<< I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old.
I have degenerative disc disease, so I'm not allowed to lift heavy, I'm not allowed to run, and I can't do aerobics. So I do bodyweight squats, push-ups, crunches, lunges and planks. I'm working on pull-ups, but still a way off that yet0 -
I always search these boards in hopes that I will see someone who has a belly that looks like mine. Never can find one. Hoping I can get some similar results even though my before picture is far different from everyone else. I have like a little "W" at the bottom of my belly. Idk hard to explain. Anyway you ladies look fabulous!
I had the 'w' too! I have an abdominal vertical scar and the centre of the W was at the bottom of my scar. BUT the W is gone! Obviously I'm stuck with the scar, but I thought the w was here to stay, and there is no trace of it now. Just keep moisturising and keep well hydrated, and slowly lose weight, and the skin (hopefully) wil retract0 -

My most recent. Top row is at 170 before I started trying to lose weight. I had 3 kids in 3 years (they are currently almost 4, 2 1/2 and 9 1/2 months now). Bottom row is last night at 128. I've been nursing, eating a 15-20% cut of my TDEE and doing Jillian Michaels and Leslie Sansone videos at home for the most part.
I still have loose skin and more to trim off my middle, hoping to get into more lifting and running soon - it's been hard to get to the gym with three littles but I need to make it a priority!
Holy freakin' wow!0 -
My son was 1 when this pic was taken last summer. I had a C-section and gained 100 lbs while pregnant.0 -
I have had 3 kids... There is hope!!
I can only hope, I'm pregnant with number 4 and would love to have a body like that after I have this one!!!! Awesome job0 -

Now I don't have to post pics...we have the same belly! Good for you on your progress, that's amazing!0 -
Like others before me who have never posted a picture on the forums before, I don't really know what I'm doing, so hopefully the pic posts or someone else can fix it for me? Please and thanks!
Anyway, this is about a year and a half after my son was born. I had gained 50 lbs in my pregnancy, and it took me 9 months to get to my pre-pregnancy weight. I started with cute little Wii games like Wii Active and the Biggest Loser, then progressed to Jillian dvd's (30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, 6 Week 6 Pack) then Bodyrocking, kettlebell training, and I started Jamie Eason's Lifefit trainer. Currently I'm 36 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and have continued working out throughout my pregnancy. I'm hoping to get my abs back a lot quicker this time!!

To the awesome ladies that posted pics: What were your food habits/calories to lose the belly weight? How long did it take to lose inches around your waist?0

Threads like this give me serious hope for my stomach.
I've pretty much accepted that I think I'll always have loose skin in that area, but I have three beautiful children by my side.
If I saw any of you at the beach in a bikini, I would be extremely jealous of you looking so good after kids, by c-section or not.
So well done to every single one of you.0 -

WOW! You look amazing! Excellent job! What are you doing for the weight loss????
Thank you so much for the compliment .
For the weight loss, I haven't really done anything out of the ordinary. I did Zumba 3x a week, and strength training classes 2x a week. I ate a base of 1300 calories (I'm only 5'0") and ate back most of my exercise calories. I do a bit fewer gym sessions these days now that I've returned to work, but I'm on my feet 12 hrs a day as an emergency nurse now.
So really, all I've done is move more and eat a little less. No restricted foods or anything like that.0 -
what ab exercizes did you do?
I started running...slowly and am building my way up to a 5k in September. My main ab exercises are on the stabiity ball. Curls, oblique twist (in plank position shins on ball, pull the ball towards you left shoulder, then plank, pull into chest, plank, then towards right shoulder back to plank...thats one rep I do about 40 of them a day), i do regular planks for 60 secs, butterfly kicks, and ab pull ups on a chin up bar. Other than that I use dumb bells for bicep curls (nothing over 20lbs) and the squat machine at 140lbs...thats the only heavy lfting I do.0 -
Finally figured out how to post pictures in posts
Here's me after three kids (5, 6 and 8), and down 46lbs
