    I'm 149.6 pounds as of today and would love to be 15 pounds lighter by Thanksgiving, which is 4 days before my 25th birthday! It would be a great b-day present to myself! So I guess my goal weight by Thanksgiving would be 134 pounds.

    I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only fulltime student and employee! It's super tough to find time to work out AND eat right when you're so busy ALL the time!!! It's not to be said that it can not be done, because we all know that it in fact can - it's just super tough! I'm quite glad I found this group on here. I think this is the beginning of great motivation!!!! :flowerforyou:

    Add 2 boys & a house on top of that and it may not be the time but the ENERGY to maintain the routines that get ya' hitched up! LOL... *sighs*

    I'm struggling this week - sooo hungry! But I did walk 7 miles Sunday - yay! No measureable lbs off yet.....YET!!

    Hi everyone! I am Julie and I would love to lose 20 pounds by thanksgiving. I am 28 years old and I am a mother to a 10 year old boy. I just started this so I am really new to losing weight. I am a little confused as to what I am supposed to be doing but I am sure that you all can help. I am not sure how many calories I need to eat because I did the BMR and it says I am supposed to eat 1,305 to maintain my weight. I want to lose 2 pounds a week but it will only allow me to lose less then 1 pound.

    if anyone wants to do a challenge this weekend, it is: TO GO SWIMMING. i will post the challenge on thursdays after the weigh-in. it will be a random idea and you can chose to participate or not. if you do, have fun at the pool this week! :)

    I've gone swimming at least 3 times this week. Tonight I went at 7pm. The water felt great!

    Hope I'm not too late to join! I weighed in today vs Wendesay, but close enough for the first week. I'd love to lose another 20 by Thanksgiving. I'm 31, been married for almost 11 years and have 5 kids. Twin boys that are 8, a daughter who is 5, and boy/girl twins that are 3. I work full time and as of Monday I'm back to school full time. I'm hoping this will motivate me to keep up with my exercise when school starts back up, it's been easy enough to do over the last 6 weeks since I starting trying to lose weight I just need to keep it a priority when things get hectic.     I want in too, but it seems like I'm a little late. In reading a few posts, it looks like we are about the same age and all have kids. I'm 32, married for almost 7 years (November 7), and we have one 15 month old son. I work full time (long hours). I'm hoping this will help me. I've been struggling to lose weight for the past 15 months. I was able to lose all pregnancy weight, but I still need to drop 15 more.

    I'm in! Although a little late. I have gained 15 lbs. since January and I want to lose it by Thanksgiving. That will also mark the 1 year anniversary of my broken leg which is the reason for my weight fluctuation this year. I lost 15 lbs. after surgery on my leg and looked and felt my best but I have slowly put it back on, although some of it is muscle. I don't want my clothes to feel tight anymore...especially since fall is coming and I'll have to start wearing pants again...I've been avoiding them! Is there any way we can turn this into a group instead of a thread? Or can anyone think of a better way to keep an eye on each other and stay motivated?

    Week one in the books!!! Lost 0.4 lbs – not a big loss but a step in the right direction. My goal is to lose 10 pounds by Thanksgiving, so this is actually a good pace to do that. I didn’t get a chance to swim this week :ohwell: but I hope to get in the water this coming week. One week behind your challenge Dawn but I plan to get-r-done.
