    We were in high school together it was his first year there he was a senior I saw him walking through the hall and it was like God just told me you're gonna date that guy and so I saw him the next day we started talking and then started dating 2 weeks later and now we've been married going on 5 years with 3 kids and one on the way, he's my best friend

    My ex-husband and I met when he was going through my line at the grocery store I worked in during high school. That unfortunately didn't work out, but always thought it was kind of quirky he would wait in line behind tons of people to buy pop-tarts and chocolate milk.
    My current SO and I went to and graduated high school together, we reconnected after 20 plus years on Facebook. We just talked and caught up and one thing led to another and we started dating, we now live together and have been together for 4 years, he always says I should have dated you in high School..lol

    I met my hubby at a nightclub. He approached me in front of all my friends. He was talking to me but we couldn't hear him over the loud music. He waved his hand and went to the restroom. My friends and I were laughing about what he could have possibly said, saying things like "He said he wants you to pull his finger" "He said he wants to rape you, cut you into pieces and put you in an old freezer" or "He said he needs you to help him find his dog" We went on and on and while I was talking, my friends began to give me weird eye looks, I turned around to see him standing right there next to me, listening to what I was saying about him. He laughed and joined in, only saying "He said he thinks your the most beautiful woman in the club, and if you could dance with him" After that we have been inseparable for 8 years....

    He was my boss (summer after high school) and he was a jerk. I complained about him constantly. He was tough to work for. 6 months later we were dating. 7 months after that we were engaged. 17 months after that we were married. That was nearly 15 years ago and we're now expecting our first child!

    Note: He is now a manager of an IT dept and everyone tells me how awesome he is to work for. If only they knew what he was like as a pompous 21 year old! Oh, and that "tough" work ethic of his has given us the means to have an incredible life full of amazing adventures.

    I moved in October 2005. In November 2005, I called Bed Bath & Beyond to change my address so I could keep receiving their coupons and other mailings. He answered the phone and helped me. We got married in September 2006. I'm a writer. Our story, "Change of Address," was published in the book "Chicken Soup for the Soul: True Love" in December 2009. :heart:

    Met in a MySpace chat room in 2007. "Fell in love" even though I lived in Missouri and him in Florida. He moved over 1000 miles for me in 2009... without us EVER meeting. Sounds so crazy and delusional but hey, it's worked out and we're still quite happy <3

    Play fighting with his best mate..... Then next min he rugby tackles me (playfully) to the ground, two days later we are together now 3 years later here we are :)

    We met because of a bet.......been together for 8yrs now (married 6).

    Us too...in a bar. Hubby and his other Navy buddies bet his REALLY drunk friend that he couldn't get either me or my friend to dance with him. We looked over and saw all of them laughing their *kitten* off at his pathetic attempts and said "well, we can't let you lose a bet!". Laughing turned into stunned looks....except for my hubby at the end. So I walked up to him and said, "looks like YOU want to dance too!!". He was MORTIFIED. I drug him out and made him shuffle pathetically with his two left feet. We the sat and talked for hours about cars.

    He asked for my number and I gave it to him, while also quipping to my girlfriend "he'll never call..."

    That was 16 years, 8 deployments, 5 states, 4 houses, 3 degrees, and a whole lot of fun in between. :)

    Met in a bar... I was not looking for anything...my hair a mess, no make up... was actually kind of pissed that night.. he comes over, a bit tipsy, tryin to pick me up by sayin he just got back from Iraq (really Kuwait). Tell ya, he did NOT impress me w/ his dancing skills, :laugh: !! But we've been together for 5 years, married for 2 :smile:

    It was my first day at my job and I was in the cafeteria and saw this most awesome gorgeous butch. She was fumbling with her credit card at the machine and I giggled and said, do you want me to show you how to use one of those and we laughed and that was it. Later that day I was brought down to another floor where the contractors that I would be working for were. As I walked around the corner who did I see sitting there but her. My was I embarrassed. Were friends for 2 years then finally went out on a date and we have been inseparable since. We got legally married 11/1/2008.

    Met at a taco bell drive thru. We met through a mutual friend he was riding with that night. I hadn't seen said mutual friend all summer so I ran up to him and hugged him and didn't hug me back (he was like that sometimes) so Brian (my now hubby) comes over and tells him "Let me show you how to hug a woman"....my knees buckled and the rest is history...ended up talking on the phone a few times with said mutual friend and when he would hang up we would stay on the line together...We were friends for a few months and one day he kissed me and now we have been married for 5 years in September...He is the best thing God ever sent me. :)

    I met my boyfriend 7 years ago when I was a server at Perkins and he started as a cook, we went out bowling, went back to his house and watched Reservoir Dogs and we have been together ever since :)

    We met in a course that helps people figure out what careers they might like. We didn't get together for a year after that though cause I was with my sons father still. Got nothing from the course except each other lol.

    I met him online, playing Everquest. It was when LDoN first came out and we grouped together for some dungeons. I thought he was a female for the first 6 months that we played together. I never asked, he played a female toon. He lived in Manhattan, I lived in Podunk Arkansas. We finally discovered that we were opposite sex and started talking 70+ hours a month on our cells. We spent even more time than that on Teamspeak and Ventrilo! I flew up to meet him in July of 2004. We spent the next 5 months flying back and forth until I finally flew (one way) to NYC in December of 2004. We were married 12/28/2004 and have been happily gaming ever since! :bigsmile:
