I don't think I've ever been upset by a celebrity death. Maybe I would if I knew them personally and not the personality they have to adopt for public life.

The closest I'd get to actually answering the question though would be John Candy because I was disappointed that I wouldn't see him in any more entertaining movies.

    Steve Irwin.
I knew there was one I was overlooking. Irwin's death was not as upsetting to me, though, as Cobain's was.

A lot of you won't have heard of him but Gary Speed's death really upset me! I think it was because I was battling with my first bout of depression at the time but even so his death upset me way more than anyone else's has.

I've never been upset by a celebrity's death. I don't know them. Why would I mourn for them?

Amy Winehouse definitely. I caught myself saying the other day that I can't believe James Gandolfini is dead too.

Audrey Hepburn. I blubbed like a baby.

Johnny Cash is a very close second, but listening to his final albums, he was ready.

Same, except I was a big fan. Saw her perform in 2007, and was hoping to see her perform again when I was in the UK in spring of 2011 but didn't, she died that August. It upset me how her addiction made her a laughing stock, and the predictability/preventability of her death, just so sad and tragic.
