I'm in.... Long term goal is ruby and short term goal is 1 minute without tripping. Lol. Great idea for a challenge!
Yes, they need to include a goal for those folks with two left feet...and who cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. That would be the Copper goal...lol!
lol! It doesn't matter to me how many times you trip, as long as you try to jump the rope 10 minutes! I know I will be restarting a lot!0 -
I'm in for at least silver!
Woot woot! Welcome! :happy:0 -
Do you get anything if your workout regimen already consists of you operating at or beyond the Ruby level?0

This sounds great! I'm going to try for Ruby! (cause that's my birthstone!) Guess I'm gonna go buy myself a decent jump rope. =]0

Absolutely! Good question. You could get Ruby.
Or, keeping in the tune of '10 minutes', experienced jump ropers could aim for 10 minutes multiple times a day.
Platinum: 10 minutes 2x day
Diamond: 10 minutes 3x or more a day.0 -

Jumping rope is my main means of cardio and has been for a couple years. One of the tricks I used to get good was I did it while watching movies, and I "rewarded" myself for duration by being able to continue with the movie. When I had to call it quits I would pause or stop the movie until the next day at which point I resumed it. I got up to the point where I could do it consistently for up to 45 minutes at a time taking only short breaks (like 30 seconds or so every few minutes). I now use a weighted rope.0
