Before lifting weights in January 2013
After a couple of months of lifting weights
After 6 months of lifting weights
Edit: I just read the post about "please don't post pics of yourself flexing because it will scare girls who don't want to get bulky" so sorry if my offensively huuuuuge muscles scare anyone away
2 points.
1. Incredible transformation.
2. You're stunning.0 -

Its not quite the extreme transformation others have had and I apologize for the complete copy and paste job...
Calorie deficit for the first 6 months (3 of those seeing the scale not move at all), CrossFit for 8 months, Starting Strength for 3 months, and Wendler's 5/3/1 for 5 months. After starting CrossFit and lifting I was still eating in a deficit just not as big as before. I am 5'8 and 24 years old, working out (lifting, low reps, heavy weight) at least 3 times per week with cardio from CrossFit classes and some shorter runs.
Starting at 198lbs, 30+% body fat:
After deficit eating and about 2 months of CrossFit, 180-185lbs:
After about 8 months of CrossFit, 175-180lbs, probably 28-30% body fat:
After 3 months of Starting Strength and 2 months of Wendler's 5/3/1, 165-170lbs, closer to 25-28% body fat:
Beginning of April this year, after about 5 months of Wendler's 5/3/1, 163lbs, 25-26% body fat:
Here's a side by side in similar clothes and poses:

My results aren't nearly as amazing as most of these ladies, but I've been lifting heavy for about two months. It's not drastic, but there's definitely more tightness and definition.

You girls all look absolutely stunning! I really want to get into heavy lifting, but not sure where to start. I can't pay for a gym membership at the moment.0

I can't do a gym either.....I just can't get away from home with three small kids after working all day! I bought some equipment off Craigslist and am currently doing stronglifts. It's been a pretty good compromise0 -

I just started Stronglifts 5x5 on 07/01 but had been lifting for awhile. I don't have any pics to post here, but you can see in my comparison pics on my profile that I was clearly MUCH bulkier before.
P.S. these are my FAVORITE threads!!!! You lovely lifting ladies are so inspiring!!!! Gorgeous!!!!0 -

You can do a fair amount of New Rules of Lifting for Women at home. Just buy 2nd hand equipment and make sure you book yourself a time in your day for your workout - don't try to fit it in, fit other stuff around it - it's worth it!2
