It's going to 99 here in my part of PA today...Heat index 107. Taking the kids to the pool later. And yes, I HATE IT!

How hot is it where you live? Love it or hate it?

I'm in eastern PA. Same here except I'm at work. This heat is putting a crimp in my walking schedule. I hate it. The only reason I like summer is so I can garden. :) I'd rather walk in the winter cold than summer heat.

Wisconsin: 91 today with humidity, so around 107. We have had this for the whole week and it doesn't look like it is going to stop. Wisconsin is supposed to be cooler at about 75. That is what I prefer. Can't run in 107/humidity.

We just finished a run of 35+ days over 100, with most days right around 108-110, but dry 10-20% humidity. Monsoon Season started a week and a half ago, so now it's cooled down but the humidity is up. We've been at a cool 92-98 degrees for the last week, but now we're also at around 60-80% humidity. It's a trade-off. I'd much rather have the heat without the humidity. Bring back my dry 112s please!!!!

I'm in Toronto, it was 37 C yesterday but with the humidity it felt like 42C. For all my fahrenheit friends, that is 98 and 107 with humidity.

If you're referring to now, it's winter this side so it's relatively mild at just over 20 degrees celcuis!! In Summer it can get as high as 40 degrees!!

I am just North of Pittsburgh, PA and it is brutally humid already. I was working outside for about 45 minutes and need another shirt. It's going to be a long day.

It's unusually hot here in the UK at the moment and us Londoners who are using the underground and working in buildings with no aircon are feeling it bad! LOL

Right now the temperature says 30 degrees C. (which is about 86F) but it will probably still go up a degree or 2 yet. But it's been higher the past week - it's been over 90F a few days over the past week and that is just unbearable.

Apprently this "heatwave" is supposed to continue all summer.... I won't mind so much over the next 2 weeks since I'm on holiday :)

I know that 100 deg F is 38 deg C so I am going to guess that is 37 degrees. Yes, that is hot. I live in Brisbane and an average summer's day is 32. If it gets to 35 we start to feel it, and 37 is right up there, because Brisbane is very humid. If the temperature hits 35 degrees tennis is called off due to health and safety concerns.

I would rather feel hot than cold, though. I hate having to put on layers in winter (which is 18 degrees in lovely Brisvegas).

It was a balmy 116 degrees last week here in Phoenix.

Lived out there for 3.5 years... It got up to 132 one summer and I was 7 months pregnant... Let me tell you that's NOT fun!! Then again, I would take that again, over being in New England when it's hot and humid... 95% of houses up here don't have central AC! :(
