I'm a little older than most of you but have been many times to SDCC and always wanted to cosplay the stormtrooper hockey guys from Strange Brew .0

HI
Last year's NYCC was my first time cosplaying (steampunk Han Solo, oh yes I did!)
But I also am super into Cons, comics, Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Firefly... you name it, I'm in there.
I bow out when it comes to anime though, outside of Full Metal Alchemist and Cowboy BeBop I'm a lost cause0 -
Eeeeeh. When I'm at goal, I want to cosplay Tali'Zorah nar Rayya (from Mass Effect) at Comic Con in London0

I Just got my invite to Comic Con, my girlfriends doing PR for some venders at the event and is getting me in Woot, Woot. I am so excited. I doubt I'll wait in a line at 6am to see the panels, but it will be so much fun to walk around and see everything. I am going to be in nerd heaven and I can't wait!!!
Oh and for the record if I could dress up in any costume I would be a Wood Elf Druid with thigh high boots and a little dagger and bow and arrow or a cool staff. I use to play EVERQUEST omg so nerd loved every minute of it!

Nobody messes with a fit elf. We hope to be in good enough shape to go to next year's ComicCon as Gambit and Rogue. Big Marvel/X-Men fans here. Also, I second the earlier suggestion of checking out nerd fitness. Great site and good people over there.0 -
Checking in!!! anime/ video games/ cosplay all that jazz!!!!0

I love cosplay! It's my main reason for staying in shape.0

Jessica Negri is my favorite ;o0

I have become pretty fascinated with steampunk. If I was going to create a costume it would probably be that.
In for pics.0 -
I will be cosplaying Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler in November!
Also doing a Wa Lolita for the same event. ^_^!0 -
Oo once I put my costume all and get all done up I promise to post a pic here . Might just do a test run of it this weekend just to show you guys.0

Was about to attend my first 'Nerd Convention' this weekend. PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) in Melbourne Australia, but I've had to pull out because I'm on call. I gave my ticket and accommodation to a good friend so he can go. He can tell me all about it when he gets back.0

Aww man, that is to bad. I just got my Badge for Gencon Indy today in the mail! I can not wait! Still don't know if I want to cosplay or not. Don't really know what I can do on the cheap side and fast.0 -
I promised the lads I'll go next year!0

I haven't done a cosplay in a while. I'm tempted to try a Mako Mori this halloween but I'd be a black slightly larger Mako but it should be fun.0

Jessica Negri is my favorite ;o
+1 i'd be gay for her any day0 -
I try to game when work-life permits, but never cosplayed. Some of the costumes people design are very impressive though. I wish I had the time or talent.0

I'm doing 2 versions of a halloween costume cosplay this year. Standard and Steampunk Velma baby. Cannot wait.0
-
'Ello! I cosplay also. I've done the Painted Lady from Avatar, Red Link, and one of the Hitachiin twins from Ouran High Host Club.
I'm planning on going to Sakura-Con (in Seattle) next April. I'm working on building an Iron Man suit that I want to be able to wear plus Fierce Diety Link from LoZ: MM and Yoko from Gurren Lagann.0 -
Yes! Cosplaying is one of my motivations to lose weight. I dressed up as Pam Poovey from Archer because that was an outfit I felt most comfortable in and was in line with my body type. I'm hoping to dress up as Kaylee from Firefly when I lose some more weight. Maybe as Inara if I lose more and work on my sewing skills0

I cheat when I go to Anime Detour, Minneapolis. I just wear my street clothes, and some fuzzy cat ears.0
-
Wow! Everyone has so many good cosplay ideas! I can't wait to see them all!0
