well today I mixed 4 egg whites with 12oz sugar, 12oz butter, 4 egg yolks, 16oz self raising flour, 9oz dried fruit, 7oz chocolate chips and a little fruit juice, and stuck it in the oven.

it's my daughter's birthday today and she wanted a mummy made cake not a shop one. :flowerforyou:

I know people are joking with the yolks part, but I usually do that myself. I'll put in some (maybe half a cup) of egg whites and then put one egg in with it. I used to do just plain egg whites, but it got boring quickly. Now I do that with some spices like pepper and cayenne pepper.

However, I put my egg whites on a piece of toast after as well. If I don't put spices on as I am cooking. I will put it all on toast with Frank's Redhot sauce. It's a delicious meal :3

    yolks

    ^^^ this

egg yolks contain the "good" type of cholesterol and there's no need to avoid them unless you have a medical issue. They're a great source of fat soluble vitamins.

If you're trying to cram in a lot of protein for very few calories (it happens occasionally when you do IIFYM lol) then any omelet recipe is good, just leave out the yolks or make it with just one yolk. But IMO this is the only situation where I'd do this, because the yolk is extremely nutritious, and really 75 cals for one egg, it's not a high calorie food given how much protein, vitamins etc you get for those 75 cals.

mustard (I like more rough-ground spicy types) is actually really good.
Combine with banana for gluten-free "pancakes"
Combine it with lettuce and any other veg you like on salad and use whatever dressing works for you
Also, yolks! I assumed at first that you were trying to keep calories down, but you're using a pretty high-cal salsa (salsa fresca would help you out with that, as it doesn't usually have added sugar like the jarred salsas) and cheese, which is even higher-cal. Since guidance flip-flops as to whether yolks are detrimental or not, most only recommend cutting them out if you're eating multiple eggs every day. Eating the whole egg every once in a while might give you some variety, and that way they taste good and you don't have to add anything!

    Oh my goodness - everything!

    Leftover BBQ chicken (shredded)
    spinach, tomatoes, onion, mushrooms
Adele's teriyaki chicken meatballs (my current favorite)
Leftover fish my husband cooked the night before
    Turkey sausage
    Turkey bacon
    shrimp
    Morning Star maple sausage patties
Morning Star mushroom burgers/tomato basil pizza burgers
    crab meat
    soy sauce

The best eggs are leftover omelets my husband makes for me, made from whatever stuff we have in our fridge

I put the yolks in my egg whites. Then I make amazing 3 egg omelettes with bacon and cheese. Or, if I'm particularly hungry, a 6 egg frittata with bacon and whatever vegetable I feel like adding (Brussels sprouts and asparagus are favorites.)
