It seems I'm inching closer to the higher portion of my maintenance weight so I have to get it under control. I'm so thankful for this challenge b/c it's going to force me to be accountable.

Nice to see a change finally! Been stuck for a month because I haven't been able to exercise. I adjusted my calorie intake and activity though and didn't gain either. So thats good. I've been recovering from surgery.

    Jan 3: Goal- 160

Didn't change this week. However, I am now set to lose 1/2 a pound a week, and I haven't set my scale to display tenths. So I may have hit my 1/2 pound loss. As I inch closer to my goal, I'm adjusting my calories closer to maintenance so that it won't be a hug shock to me when I get there. It'll probably make these last three pounds take awhile, but I'd rather that than to bounce back up after I hit my goal.

FYI: My preference would be to have 160 as the top side of my weight fluctuations, and 155 as my bottom side. That will keep me in the "normal" BMI range so that I don't have to listen to my doc! (165 is just outside of normal, so this goal is giving me some wiggle room:laugh: )

Yesterday I went to the State Fair for a few hours with my family. We walked a LOT, and didn't buy any food there. Although we did partake of the free soft-serve ice cream cones. They were cake cones with barely enough ice cream above the lip to qualify as being above it!

Today I went BACK to the Fair with my band. We marched in the parade. It was about 1/2 a mile of walking backwards, on my toes, in step and in time with the music. My glutes are not terribly happy with me! Afterwards we spent about 3 hours walking around and looking at stuff. Since the group of kids I was with didn't have much $$ to spend on stuff, we didn't buy any food. We did go for the free ice cream cones, and found another place that was giving away free chocolate peanut butter ice cream. Since I only had a banana for breakfast (in the craziness of the morning, the rest got left on my desk and not eaten! ), and I packed my own lunch of pb&j, carrots, and strawberries, I determined that the ice cream wasn't going to push me over my cals. I haven't enterred it yet, but with all the walking, I'm pretty sure I'm good. I am now DONE with the Fair until next year!

Now to get ready for my football games that start this Friday. We have 2 Fridays on, 2 off, then 2 more on. It'll be difficult because I won't leave the school between class and the game. Which means either fast food or pb&j sandwiches. Luckily, DH drives out here (our school is in the country) from town and most times will pick up a sub from Subway. Not the best, but better than the Big Macs I used to get! Life is always interesting around here with all my activities, but it's never dull! Although being away from home from dinner so much does tend to make it difficult. I managed it last year, and this is my life, so I've got to figure out how to make it work for the long term. Just taking it one day at a time!

    Wow, that's a really long post! I hope everyone has a GREAT week!:drinker: Here's to good choices!:drinker:

A yo yo week! Lost 1.5lbs mid week then gained 3lbs overnight (did have a lot of sodium for supper that night though), so I'm down from that gain. I'm not going to let it get me down & I wiil be happy over the 1/2lb lost. Did exercise everyday except Sat and stayed right at or a hair below my calorie goal for the day!

Good evening ladies! I have just finished working (had to bring work home) and am exhausted but have to get up at 5 am in order to get tomorrow's workout in. Today is week 1 day 2 of the Push Circuit of the Chalean Extreme program. Since today is considered a rest day in the program I decided to do a little cardio instead. I completed Turbo Jam Fat Blaster.

Welcome to all the newbies. I've been a part of this challenge since December 2009 and have been able to not only reach my goal weight but also maintain it for several months. I've given myself a 5 lb maintanence range....120-125 lbs. I'm currently on the high end of it so I'll be working to lower it but overall I'm very happy w/my success.

Its been a busy month for me so far! I'm still around & still trying to litterally work my butt off, however I haven't been checking in here too much only to log food, etc. I've been busy getting ready for my cruise, so much to do! Also been dating CJ aka Hot Cop as much as possible! Everything is going so awesome between us. He just got hired on as police chief in another city, so now he has to move, so yesterday he had me house hunting with him instead of going out on the boat for the day. Its not too far away from where he lives now (which is where my parents live) however it isn't any closer to me. Still about 30 min or so away. He loves living out in the country & I think he's trying to convince me it would be great to move back! One thing I can say that is awesome about him is that he is upfront all the way with what he wants! I did however skip the gym both Monday & Tuesday, but got up early both mornings to go for a run. CJ has to work all weekend so hopefully I'll get my groove back & get closer to ONE-derland before I leave for my cruise!
