Happy Sunday everyone!
It's been a crazy week at my house. My husband has been sick, been back and forth to the parents house, and toured a college our daughter is considering, yesterday. I didn't eat well on Friday & Saturday so was not relishing the idea of stepping on the scale this morning. What a relief!
Went to the grocery store on Friday and picked up 4 cans of pumpkin. I am going to try a pumpkin smoothie this morning! Also picked up spaghetti squash, acorn squash, yellow squash and zucchini. I think I am going to try the spaghetti squash tonight. Couldn't find any mini pumpkins to make the souffle but will search around in the next week to see if anyone else has them.

Hi everyone! Just checking in. I apologize for not keeping up with everyone. I should apologize to myself as well, because I've been so busy that I haven't taken time for myself. :bigsmile:I didn't do any workouts whatsoever ALL WEEKEND! I had several errands to run Saturday, then CJ came over for awhile in the afternoon between shifts. Yesterday I was planning to get packed & get a run in, however CJ called me first thing yesterday morning & said he was on his way! So we spent the ENTIRE day together. It was nice, but I felt guilty because I didn't get anything done! I AM going to the gym today, tomorrow & Wednesday NO MATTER WHAT! Thursday I will have to get payroll done for my dad's business before I can leave on Friday for my trip! I'm not sure if I will see CJ this week or not before I leave...he is starting his new position as Chief of Police for another city so I'm sure he will be busy as well. Anyway - I'm looking forward to vacation so I can actually get some workouts done!
I did increase my water over the weekend & lost those 2 lbs I gained back and another 2 oz. So at least I'm going in the right direction. I've still got a ways till ONE-derland, but I'll get there soon. :drinker:0 -

Guess who's back......WooHoo! Good morning and happy Monday! Today is the first week of working from home and since I don't know how long this will last I decided to make it the day that I get myself back on track. I've updated my profile and changed my ticker to reflect what the scale stated this morning. While I don't think the weight is accurate because I ate late last night and weighed early this morning I decided I was going to record it regardless.
While I've been working out consistently these past two months I can't lie my eating habits have gotten really bad and I need to get back on track especially since the holidays are rapidly approaching.
I'm unsure what my workout routine will be. At this point i'm fluctuating between beginning round 2 of P90X or re-joining boot camp. I have to check out the boot camp website to see if there are any specials b/c money may be the deciding factor. If I decide to re-do P90X I'm sure I'll mix up my cardio days with P90X, Insanity and Chalean Extreme videos as well as the treadmill and elliptical from the local gym. I'll keep you posted.
Today I decided to throw in the Chest and Back dvd from the P90X series. Boy oh boy, who ever stated "if you don't use it, you lose it" sure wasn't lying. My ability to really rock out the push ups sucked and I found myself going to my knees often. Nonetheless, the workout is complete and I feel good.0 -

I only lost half a pound, but I am glad the scale is moving in the right direction. I need to exercise more & eat better this week, so I can lose more weight at the next weigh in .

I could go into all the reasons, but the simple fact is that it's been a bad couple weeks. I've got to get refocussed and back on track. Step one is preplanning meals. Step two is making better grocery lists (step one will help with this!). Step three is slow down to take in the experience rather than rushing from one thing to the next!
