Wow, some people are so shallow. What does it matter how a person looks in your eyes in a bikini?????

I think people need to take a step back....I can remember feeling bigger and wearing a tank with my bikini and not taking it off because I was self conscious. You know how much that sucked? Tanning with something sticking to your stomach sucks. Swimming with a bunch of access crap on sucks!!! If I had it my way I would swim nude, tan nude. To be legal I wear a bikini and honestly I really don't want anyone to see all of me. ;)

If someone is 600 pounds and has a bikini that covers her butt, vagina and her breasts (some skinny girls don't even have that going for them) and they feel confident, then more power to them!!!! I wish I could have that confidence. You go girl!!!!

I'm 7 months shy of 60 and I haven't looked this good since I was in my 20s. At 5'2" and 122 pounds I rocked my new Italian bikini on the Amalfi Coast this summer (and recently at the Jersey Shore).
If you don't want to wear a bikini after age 35 be my guest but as for me, I'll wear one as long as it pleases me and my gorgeous hubby!

    U tell them girlie!!
    Thanks, girlfriend!!!

Personally I stop wearing one when above a US size 10.

I don't mind what other people do. I just hope people get a suit that actually fits them is all.

As long as the persons comfortable, I don't see a problem.

If they're not something I wanna be looking at, I won't.

    Great answer.

I sometimes wish people would consider what age they should stop wearing bikinis, rather what size.

The answer to this question is totally subjective and will vary among all the different people who are brave enough to answer.

I've seen larger ladies that look fantastic in a bikini, but they are also choosing bikinis that are not so skimpy that rolls are hanging over, etc. On the other hand, I have seen ladies smaller than myself who look awful in them because of their posture (or simply choosing a style that does not work well with their body type).

I personally would not feel comfortable in a bikini if I were anything in the double digit size range, but that's just me. I've always had confidence issues. I don't think any size is "too big" for a bikini as long as it fits well and the lady is comfy wearing it.

It does make me sad that so many people are judging ladies by their farking AGE when it comes to a bathing suit, though. That's just crazy. And if 35 is the cut off, then next year I will have to get rid of my bathing suit in my avi. :noway:

In your opinion.... Guys and girls please answer.

There is none, as long as the person feels comfortable... I would personally say age...

No one over 35... LOL Then again that is just me... xx

35 is the cut-off? :noway: I've seen many 40-somethings and a few in their 50's with tighter, hotter bodies than most women in their 20's.

I was supposed to stop at 35? Oh well.....I seldom do what I'm supposed to do anyway....

Seriously? This is the first time in my life I have actually felt good in a bikini :blushing: ETA and Shelly looks super hot!

    Thank you very much! :)

For me if you are fat, have flabby bits or male..... then NO BIKINI.

Sorry but anything other than at least toned & not wobbling around (apart from boobs) is ok. Last thing anyone wants to see if a gut hanging out of it.

BTW I'm 38 & more than capable of wearing one this year....so  to the person who said over 35

Having people tell you 'No' because of their own arbitrary notions of what's attractive hurts, huh?

Why too big? Is that definable by size? I've seen women with incredible bods wear bikinis at a size 12 and those who are flabby and a size 2 look absolutely dreadful.

ANd how do you define attractive by age? The person asked WHAT SIZE not what age. I look better at this age than I did in my teens & 20s. I sure as hell never would have worn a bikini then cause I was flabby as ****.

For me personally, I wouldn't wear one over size 14.

I think other people can wear whatever they want.

Eh...there's no such thing. Everyone is entitled to wear whatever they want.
  • I don't really think there is a size that is "too big" If a fat woman feels comfortable in a bikini more power to her! Men can be fat and show off skin, so why can't women? That is my personal opinion on the matter, I am a size 14 and I wear a bikini. Does my fat show? Yes. But I feel really good in it and wear it. Why let other people bring me down, I don't care if they "think I should wear a one piece" or are "Offended by seeing my fat" I am proud of my body and who I am. Even if you wear a one piece, people will still be able to tell if you have fat or not. Is that bad? No. So wear whatever you want, just make sure you feel comfortable and CONFIDENT.
My philosophy? Live and let Live.

  • I would wear a 10 at 5'4" and 150 lbs. Many of you say a 12 would be too big, but I wouldn't be able to wear one now! I don't think I'd ever be comfortable in a bikini though. My body is like a wh*rehouse for stretchmarks.

Why does it have to be about a size? Why can't someone wear one because they are comfortable with the way they look.
  • I wear a bikini i may not have the proper body yet to look sexy but i am am sexy enough for my hubby and that is good enough for me
