Here's what I have decided to exclude from my diet:
- All junk food
- Pastries
- White bread
- Any meat besides fish
- Sugar
- Pasta
- Noodles
- Juice
- Soda pop
- Condiments (ranch, mayo etc.)
What would you list as foods that you no longer eat?

I don't have any no-no foods, I choose not to label foods. If it fits into my day, I eat it.0

I eat all the foods.0

Same here. Everything in moderation.0

Allllllll the foods for me too.0

There's nothing I will not eat. Excluding foods is a good way to set your self up for failure. I do make a conscious choice to avoid soda, but if I felt the desire to crack open a Pepsi I'd do it without any adverse feelings about it.

Pumpkin pie, because I HATE pumpkin pie.0

High fructose Corn Syrup, msg, fried foods. I mainly try to have whole foods and anti-toxins.0

Yes some foods are trigger foods for me. So I avoid them.
Sugar (except in fruit and veggies)
Grains (no bread, tortillas, pasta etc)
Pop (diet or regular)
I don't drink my calories, so nothing I drink has calories in it.0 -

no-no foods
ffs, you're not 2yrs old0 -
I do not have any no no foods, I do have foods I will not indulge in while I am trying to loose weight but once I obtain my weight goal I will not have foods I will never permit myself. I will limit my portions of some foods.0

I eat all foods too... But there are certain foods I limit (fizzy juice is a rare treat, and bread, pasta and pizza etc) because they are very high calorie with not a lot to show for it. The only foods that are a no no for me are meat and fish etc but only because Im vegetarian.0

Yep. You will find that most people who have had long term success with fat loss and a healthy lifestyle have this mentality. The more restrictions you have on your diet, the higher the likelihood of a binge or giving up (unless you have medical reasons for eliminating certain foods/food groups). This is not a 100% rule, and it may not apply to YOU, but it does apply to the masses.
Will you live the rest of your life with out the foods you listed? A year? Will you live for six months? Three months? Three weeks? If you can't sustain these eating habits long term, why to force them on yourself now? Enjoy everything in moderation. For me, this means pizza once a week, wine every Saturday and ice cream or chocolate every. single. night. :drinker:0 -
Broccoli and cauliflower.
They are disgusting vile weeds.0 -
Technically there aren't any foods I don't eat. I've substituted different foods for the high calorie/low fiber foods (I eat a whole grain bread instead of white, and I try to keep skinny cows instead of true chocolate bars), but I prefer everything in moderation to exclusion.0

- Processed foods
- White carbs (pasta, rice, noodles, etc)
- Soda (diet or otherwise)
- Sweetened juice
- Dairy (except for cheese and yogurt!)
- White sugar
- Anything deep-fried
These are foods I do my best to avoid for the benefit of my health, not my weight. Sometimes I slip up, but I don't get too down on myself about it!0
