Mondongo (tripe)
Any Campbell's cream of anything soup
And even though I loooove Indian and Pakistani food, I dislike most of their desserts-- gulab jamun, barfi (yes, that is its name), halva, and many others.0 -
Hangi (Really smoked food cooked underground.)
The meat tasted like dry smokey dirt, so disgusting.0 -
Haggis, in Scotland ... though I tried not to chew. Oh my word.
I thought it tasted likea better version of meatloaf. I didn't mind the Hagus, but I hate meatloaf.0 -
Mc Donalds Hamburger...0

Liver and mushrooms *gag* also, rubbery bacon rinds. Seriously, you should not have to fight with your food.0

A Filet-O-Fish from McDonalds that I had a few weeks ago... You could tell it had been sitting there for ages and had only just been heated up. Yuck.0

I have to say the most interesting part of this thread for me is not what people don't like, but what I do like in comparison. Apparently I am not a picky eater in any way.
lol I was having the same thought - I like almost everything named or would try the ones I haven't. Mostly. Probably would have to skip the monkey brains (for purely sentimental monkey-love reasons) and black pudding/blood sausage because no.
However, there have been a couple of things: seaweed salad at a grocery store deli (it was horrendous - have since tried it elsewhere and it was more...you know...meh) and pickled pigs feet, which just tasted like pickled fat.0 -
This is more what I found in my food and actually chewed on it. I bought hot chips at a market and found a fingernail in my mouth. It was not pretty.0

Boiled okra. It's just slimy nastiness.0

This reminds me of a friend in high school who found a dirty bandaid in her refried beans. There were pus and blood stains on it. It was one of those fast food places, don't remember which one.0 -
Flan. I was told afterward by some of my friends that it was not very good flan and that I should try it again. It was so gross I just never could.0

Boiled okra..... my parents always said that I had to at least try a food as a kid and if I didn't like it, then I didn't have to eat it....well, I tried that and have never been near it since!!!0

* anchovies (II once bought a little jar and was going to mash them like the recipe said, i looked at it and it looks like a centipede ew).
* tongue. i used to eat it, but then my brother (who wanted to have more for himself ) would sit there and stick out his tongue and i got so grossed out that haven't touched it since i was little.
*Heart/brain/lungs of cow - 'nuff said.
*Okra. slimey...0 -

But spam?! Oh I love fried spam sandwiches
I'm not a picky eater so I don't have a long list but I hate poptarts and frozen burritos :noway:0 -

I LOVE seaweed salad! I love gulab jamon and halvah, too.
DH will be happy to see that okra and brussels sprouts are on so many lists. He won't touch either. He doesn't like the texture of mushrooms, so if he gets any in a dish when we're out to eat, he gives them to me.0 -
Tofu - yuck
Sardines - Bleugh
Black Jellybeans!0 -
Stuffed grape leaves.
I agree I just eat that the other day and never again0 -
I'm not quite sure.
It was in Asia, and the meat just didn't quite chew right...0 -
it's a drink, but, boza, a bittersweet/sour liquid made of fermented yeast and cereal.
Imagine you got some kind of bug and vomited until you got to bare yellow bile, then rinsed your mouth with water, like 4-5 times. The faint memory of sickly sweet that's left, that's what boza tastes like. The texture is like the stuff that came out on the first heave.0 -
never tried sardines but my dad LOVES them and i cant stand the smell, avocado makes me gag, so do chicken wings, mayonnaise, beets, carrots, and pea soup. i could go on. im picky.0
