Any animal that dies in a movie... literally crushes the heart.

This is me. I specifically avoided Marley and Me for this very reason.

    "The Champ", no question.

Ricky Schroeder crying when his dad (Jon Voight) dies after the boxing match.

OMG I forgot about The Champ.

Watched Gravity last night......George Clooney floated off into space and then teased us by coming back in a dream, but he was really still dead.

    That was terribly devastating.

But I think the one that gets me and will always get me is when Mark Green died in the old show ER.....I bawled. Hysterically. And then almost stopped watching it.....

Troy. Brad Pitt dying killed me inside a little.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but that's all I can think of for now.

(And of course "My Girl".....there are no words for that.)

Ned Stark...The Red Wedding...Khal Drogo...Game of Thrones has taught me that everything that I love will die...

And the worst are yet to come (well, maybe not worse than Khal, that sucked big time).

The British "Squintern" in Bones a few seasons ago. That took me by surprise. And yeah, any time they kill a pet.

George in Greys Anatomy :( I was so upset!!

oooo that's a good one, an ex of mine introduced me to that show and I watched it ever since lol

but I would have to go with Ned Stark, saddest thing I ever saw second would be george, third would be that moment in scrubs (you already know what Im talking about), fourth would be chef from south park ^_^

Buffy season 2 finale where she kills Angel and when she finds her mom. Always tears.
The first 10 or so minutes of Up, heylookitsval hit it on the nose. I'm getting a lump in my throat just by seeing that... :'(

Harry in Armageddon…when Liv Tyler puts her hand on the staticy screen and says, “Daddy”…I lose it EVERY time.

Hooch in Turner & Hooch…you can’t tell me that didn’t get anyone else.

Shelby in Steel Magnolias…maybe not so much when she dies; but when her mom breaks down at the cemetery afterwards.

Thomas J. in My Girl…when Veda breaks down at his funeral about how he can’t see without his glasses…I’m tearing up just thinking about it :(

I cried when Wilson floated away in Castaway…I admit it.

Where the Red Fern Grows…I refuse to watch the movie because the book makes me cry EVERY time I read it.

The Green Mile…when Michael Clarke Duncan is being strapped to the chair & sings “dancing cheek to cheek” while the guards are crying…and that he actually passed away at such a relatively young age :(

Beth in Little Women…although, sometimes this one makes me smile only because on an episode of Friends Joey was reading the Shining and put the book in the freezer because it scared him. So Rachel challenged him to read Little Women. When he gets close to Beth’s death, he gets all upset & Rachel puts the book in the freezer for him.

Your Castaway comment made me literally laugh out loud....same here.

    "WILSONNNNNNNNNNN!"

When Brian Piccolo died in “Brian’s Song”, I balled my eyes out.

When Joey Cappelletti dies in “Something for Joey”, I cried like a girl. I also cried during the Heisman Trophy speech given by his brother John.

When Bruce Dern’s character shoots and kills John Wayne in “The Cowboys”, I was heartbroken.
