    Cold weather & less daylight is here to stay . . . Even the snow has started to fall in NH :-)

    Nov. 2nd: 1.0 mile (*Drills*)
    Nov. 3rd: 7.0 miles (*4th Leg of the MHT City Marathon*)

    Total (so far): 8 miles

    2nd: 5.57: - 0.77 on Elliptical; 1.89 Intervals on treadmill; 2.91 Purposeful walking
    3rd: 7.48 : - Purposeful walking - to fabulous café that sells the most heavenly scones!! Walked along the Promenade and the Irish sea was wild, wonderful and trying to get me with every step!!

    Total: 18.57 m
    To go: 131.43 miles
    Target: 150 miles

    @JTH - But if you run next year who'll provide the 'Power Up' services???

    @taxmom - every time I tell my friend that I "took my husband out for a walk" she tells me I'm cruel and really should get a dog. LOL And I just love that you "can still be a bit of a distraction"

    @_canuckrunner - I love your seasonal ticker - I hope that not an indicator of what you have to run in already!

    @Lovemyalex - your mileage is always inspiring.

    @kakiem - so many of us are in the same boat - chores and family at the weekend - but essentially - we're moving - and that's what matters.

    @kawookie - you're off to a flying start this month - I'm going to have to work hard to keep up with you.

    @speedy - so pleased that your beginning to run again - trouble is re-building the stamina!!

    @Chevy - I see you're off to a flying start too. Should get easier now you've not got "the dog".

    3 mile hike this morning. Lots more calories burned cheering on the runners at the New York Marathon this morning. I'm hoarse from all the shouting. We made a lot of noise to keep those runner's smiling and distracted. Next year that's going to be me running.
