November 2013 Move Your @ss Challenge

Wow Dave! I'm a bit shocked. I was expecting, "I was just a bit sore", or "I pulled something". Not A thief stole my stuff! I know I would feel like beating the crap out of someone who stole my stuff but I think I could live without most the stuff in my garage with three exceptions. If they stole my three bikes I would be looking for blood! I would sound like Inigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin) from Princess Bride. "There will be blood tonight!!"
You really do have my sympathy and hope they catch the *kitten* or at least get your stuff back.0 -
@ Dave sorry to hear of your theft... we had the same but the police didn't even care about making a report, since it was happening a lot in the area ....they said :frown: I hope you get your things back soon!0

Total of 12 miles so far!0

3 miles walking:)0

The town I live the closest to has an EXTREMELY high occurance of theft!!! It is very bad cuz they NEVER get punished for it! They do not travel to the country (cuz they would have to steal gas to travel out here) so we are lucky!! But yes it pisses a person off!! They NEED to remember the 8th COMMANDMENT!!!
I walked 4.25 yesterday & rode 6 miles today besides ALL the other fitness I have to do for my other challenges!!

I'd like to aim for 125 km in November. Kicked off with 7.5 km runs yesterday and today ...
Nov 4: 7.5 km
Nov 5: 7.5 km
Total: 15 km (9.32 miles)
Also having had a mad week I don't think I updated my final Oct number and now can't find the final thread (which is probably locked anyway) ... made it to 115.1 km (71.52 miles).

The 8th Commandment? Is that the one that says, "Thou shalt not invoke the wrath of Dave lest he rain down Hail fire and Brimstone on your lazy behinds"?0 -

It's nice to see some new faces among our big friendly group. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: WELCOME!
It seems that many of us are getting a good start to the month. Just keep moving and you will be surprised how soon you will reach your goal. Oh, and by the way, just by joining us and moving more you already have met one goal...the goal of doing something to make yourself healthier. :drinker:
For those new to this challenge, you might be surprise how quickly this thread moves. :noway: Really, it is worth taking the time to read the posts. When I said we were friendly, I meant it....we are really good at encouraging each other along our journeys. :drinker: And many of the posts are just plain fun to read.
November total 22.25 miles. Getting some extra in now since tomorrow is overscheduled and moving might not happen.:noway:

That's pretty good! That is a really respectable time.
Just try not to push too hard and injure yourself prior to the run. I've done that once.0 -
