Way to go!!!! I can't believe you're right back on it the day after the marathon. SALUTE!!!:drinker: :drinker:0 -
I ran my first 10k at the gym today in 1 hour and 6 minutes. I am running my first 10k race on Thanksgiving day and wanted to make sure I could actually do it!
That's pretty good! That is a really respectable time.
Just try not to push too hard and injure yourself prior to the run. I've done that once.0 -

Thank you SO much for all of the thoughtful words. I really appreciate it.
Not a whole lot I can do at this point. The police came and took a report, the lock has been replaced (but will be no easier to re-break), and thankfully I have insurance to pay to replace the stuff, minus the deductible. Whenever I get a replacement bicycle, it will either be locked to a rafter or stud with a very heavy duty chain or kept inside of my apartment. I've also cleaned out my garage of anything of value and brought that inside as well. So if the punks ever come back, they'll go away disappointed. Enough of the downer stuff tho...
We have another GREAT month going, and a huge group at that!!! Good luck!!!

Hey Dave! Do we get to all chip in on what you should get for your next bike? What was your last bike?   Buggers. If I could remember what you told me about posting a picture I would post mine so you could see my Kona.

OK Dave, I have three bikes but I figured you would be more interested in the mountain bike with full suspension. I have a Kona Tanuki supreme from 2012 if you're interested in looking it up. My other two are road bikes. A Trek and a Focus but I didn't figure you for a road bike guy.
