Would you keep using MFP if it wasn't free?

Depends on the fee. This is working but so have other things like Weight Watchers in the past which became too expensive to keep doing. If it got too pricey, then I'd look for something free or better priced that gives me the same benefits.0
-
nope....i am almost at UGW...and know how to figure calories..0
-
Depends how much but probably yes0
-
Unfortunately, probably not. I just can't afford it right now and there are other apps/websites. However, I love this site in particular and would be very sad if that happened.0

nope nope nope0

Absolutely not.
While the tool is great, it's glitchy and there are others out there. Everything else isn't worth any money to me.0 -
I would, most definitely. I'd like to know the fee, though.0

Nope! I'm already using another site and it's tracking tool(LoseIt!....fantastic app, love their previous meals look-ups, they actually control their foods database as opposed to 27 different versions of an egg on this site, etc). The only reason I'm still using this one is a family member who's still using it, and I can track my body measurements for free here....which I can do in an Excel spreadsheet but it gives me a reason to pop back over here every now and again. Oh! I can also usually find the nutrition info of some specific brand of food I ate on here compared to LoseIt.
All in all, these services all have their checks and minuses, use what you want. I definitely won't pay for simple tracking of calories and exercise cals burned, which is my primary use of any of these tools!0 -
No. There are other free tracking sites. This one is my favorite, but all the ads pay for it...0
-
Depends on the cost. If it's something negligible I probably would. Otherwise I could always keep my calories counted by myself reading food's nutritional values and using my HRM to keep track of my burns.0

No thank very much ........0

No, there were a few criteria when I was choosing a calorie counting site. I wanted it to be able to link up to my FB account, other apps, extensive database and it had to be FREE!
I'd find another free site or create something myself.0 -
No.
I tried a couple of paid sites in the past - myfooddiary.com and calorieking.com, $9 per month and $49 per year respectively. I like the controlled food databases on both sites but the forums were dead. Pay site = less members = slow forums. I prefer the liveliness here.0 -
not at all!
theres so many aps free for your phone that do the same thing0 -
No, I'd use some other free calculator...0

Not only would I not pay to use MFP, I may actually start paying to use another site. I'm deciding on the sites.0
-
Probably, depending on price.
There are no other free sites with a good/big enough food database, especially for UK people.
And a reason for charging would be to speed up development and iron out bugs...0 -
No, this piece of junk has been a beta release for a decade.
Perhaps if they spent half the time moderating their food database that they spend moderating the forums, then I would consider it.
LOL J/K still wouldn't.0 -
Nope Can hardly afford all my bills and healthy food.0
