My twin niece and nephew use to (they passed away in a drowning accident July 09) call me Gigi because they couldnt say Gina.... now their little sister is calling me by this too.... 76 is my birth year!!!

Sorry to hear about such a terrible loss.

I think that it's a very nice tribute to their memory to be honest... I've used names before now such as in passwords etc. of loved ones that have passed - I'd NEVER forget them and this is why I use the names.

As long as I have my memories, I'll ALWAYS have access to happier times!

Many thanks for sharing that by the way.

    No problem.

someone I know... his daughter died before she even had a chance to take a breath... he and his wife named her... and he had that name and a few words in memorial tattoed on his arm.

I've seen this a lot and although some people find it to be 'weird' I don't... some people keep clothes, or visit graves etc. and this is another way of keeping someone's memory alive.

Hope this isn't me sounding morbid here... I just wanted to highlight this and share.

  • My username is pretty self explanatory. I'm a beach girl. It's my happy spot and an amazing creation.
And also, if you look hard enough, my name is spelled with some of the letters [in the correct order]. However, this was a coincidence, but I like it even more now. lol

    Nothing very exciting I'm afraid.

My name is Simone so thats where the first 3 letters come from and the rest is my date of birth 24th July.

    Boring huh?

We have the same birthday. :] lol

    ifychudy is my user name

ify, short form of my middle name, chudy is short form of hubby's middle name. He named me Ify-Chudi after we got married and I got an official change of name and it has always been my middle name. I know it sounded boring, but I am always at my best and put in my best whenever I was called that name

Just curious lol, I'm a nosey person you see!

Mine - well, I like the Nintendo Wii... my surname is Baxter...

I prefer Rice Krispies to Weetabix, but "RiiceyKrispyBaxter" or a variations wouldn't have worked lol.

I also use the name and have the nickname "Chewie" from "Chewbaxter" - Star Wars fan you see, and a school nickname!

So where does your username come from?

Darling, you are a complicated man
  • In high school my two best guy friends called eachother chocolate bear and vanilla bear because they were obsessed with JD and Turk off of Scrubs. Since I was with them all the time, they thought I needed to be a bear too, thus giving me the nickname Ambear. Then lynn is just my middle name.
  • Tanee is my first name & I will be fit for life ;)
  • my username refers to my gorgeous 13 month old grand daughter Skyler- Rose, she is my inspiration for my weigh loss
  • My dog is called Tim, and he is a little prancing princess :) He will twirl around on his toes like Tinkerbell, and since he is so pretty I had to add an e at the end for belle.

Someone already had Kewk so I went with KewkDB (Kewk Darkblade). The name Kewk was derived from the word Kook. Kook is surfer slang for someone thats always in the way of other surfers. A general menace on the water. Kewk is the internet form of Kook in that when I played first person shooter games I was always whooping up on everyone being a general menace :) Kewk Darkblade was made because a game I played allowed for last names and that was the last name all of my friends choose.

When I was little I used to eat slices of onions like most people would eat slices of apple. The cookie just came because I thought it was a weird combination. Then just recently I discovered that an onion cookie actually exists. XD

My first name is Tristy. All my life people would try to guess what my full name was & most would guess Tristalin. My name is just Tristy...not short for anything. Though my middle name really is Lynn.
