Even if it's just a one-year subscription to the jelly of the month club, who gets them and who doesn't ?

Edited to include my bonus...$100 that they turn around and put on my W-2 to make sure I pay tax on it, so....yeah....

    I get nothing, and I'll like it...ok, I don't like it, but I work for the State of Wisconsin and apparently the tax payers don't want to pay me a bonus, go figure! :sad: :laugh:

    what's that?!?!? I think it is great that all of the salesmen that hit their numbers get them but us in Operations (the ones making sure the customers get their products and salesmen hit their numbers) don't get anything

    Plus we get a cool Christmas party with free alcohol all night and we are put up in a fancy hotel.

    I do. Smallish amount of "cash" (check form).

    That has been the norm at most of my jobs, minus the bigger retail stores I worked at during high school & college, most of which gave no type of bonus at all.

    i used to at my old job. it would be an extra $500-$1000 which was pretty good.

    at my current job i dont get an xmas bonus but they are good for quarterlyones

    in to see who actually gets them in this day and age. I thought the bonus was we get to keep our jobs.

    I got a Christmas bonus hand delivered by our CEO's. I work for a pretty awesome company!

    Yeah, same here. Mine was small enough that I don't even really care - but it does kind of suck to get less than the full bonus amount due to taxes.

    I consider it a gift more so than a bonus because it's not that much, but it IS in cash, so that's nice.

    We get actual performance-based bonuses in June but no "Christmas" bonus.

    I have a lot of friends and relatives who work in the oil & gas industry (Texas), and they get ridiculous year-end bonuses. My bookkeeper's daughter is a paralegal, and she gets a serious year-end bonus, too. It still exists in some industries.

    After seven years of a really nice Christmas bonus....got absolutely nothing this year. No "heads up" either. Apparently they need to cut corners and that's what got cut. Couldn't even tell you how pissed off I still am annnndddd watched Nation Lampoon last night and totally felt his pain!

    No bonus. But, I work for the local government. I don't expect any bonus. Perhaps some chocolates or a little something if I worked in the corporate world would be nice, but again; not expected.

    My bonus came the same week that my waterline broke to my house and the cost of the new waterline was about the same as my bonus. :- /

    We get taxed big time, too. But...I just had my third year anniversary at my workplace and my bonus doubled, so I'm not complaining this year. :D
