Just for fun: What major exercise goal do you have for 2014 and how will it impact your weight?
My goal is to start running again! So far I can run 2 miles with a few short walking breaks in-between. I also want to stick with yoga -- it has been very helpful for my lower back pain and in improving general feeling of wellness I want to avoid sudden weight loss, because I always seem to gain the weight right back, and then some My focus is becoming truly healthy and active, and the rest will come! I'm a dancer, dance teacher and gymnast and I have a show on the 7th of February where I'm wearing very little. I'm pushing myself to get to my goal of fat loss for the show. I'm going on to muscle-gain when that's over. I want to be stronger but I want to *look* stronger with it, so that'll be fun.

Find my motivation back: I've been struggling with weight loss for years. Overall, I just need to lose these 20 lbs which I gained after graduating from college. Last year I became a mom but the pregnancy didn't put any extra weight on me. I came back to before weight within 3 months after delivery. But the weight I gained during graduate school stayed with..say for ever. I want to give it one more try. Hopefully last try....
I'm trying 21-day water fasting with some coffee and tea, maybe honey too0 -

Hi Bev, I know you are going to lose 5# this month just like me!!! My major exercise goal would be to do 10,000 steps a day. The effect would be that I would really feel proud of myself for doing what I said I would do to try to lose weight.

Just for fun: What major exercise goal do you have for 2014 and how will it impact your weight? I want to shoot for at least 5000 steps per day (hopefully more.) I will get up every class period for at least 10 minutes and walk. I will take a longer route to & from the cafeteria and other places on campus. I will not just chill out on the couch at night either.

100% need this type of accountability, and 100% need your support and encouragement. I used to have a gym/diet buddy, and we kept each other accountable. I've been trying to do it on my own for about the past year and a half it's 10 times harder. I am really hoping I can get myself back on track, because I'm so ashamed about the weight I've gained back (I was down to about 168.) Help me out!
